haven't seen a post from this young man in awhle.
i guess his parents have effectively isolated him from everything that doesn't have a wt logo on it.
I think Sick of Lies told us that he would be pretty much gone from here after his DA last spring/summer).
As I recall he is at least in his 20's (if not 30's) and was a college student.
After he produced the tapes and posted them, he was gone.
Or are you thinking of 'TheBiggestLie'?? The 17 y/o still living with parents and just starting to find his own way???

my ex-jw brother in law told me the other day that he received a call from a brother asking him if he would like to come back to meetings.
he told the brother not at this time.
to make a long conversation short, the borther indicated that they have been told by hq that two watchtowers will only be printed once a month.
Here's a link to one discussion:

And another discussion with a link to the actual BOE letter in the opening post:

i used to start work at ten a.m., and get off at seven p.m. wow, now they tell me, monday morning, i start at six a.m!
i'll be showering in the dark.
i'll be going to bed about eight-thirty.
Another thought occured to me: Get a coffee maker with a timer and have it start making coffee right before you are supposed to get up.
So how did your first day on then new schedule go?

It's true.
There were a few threads on this topic about 3 or 4 weeks ago. If I can find them, I will post the links.

cooking dinner for the folks and the oven caught fire.
john is an ass as his fuel pump went out and wants us to fix it.. told him to go to the dealer.
john threatened to hit jake and it was awful.
Is that selfish or what?
The people you have been catering to are the ones being selfish.
What you are considering for yourself is called 'self-preservation'.

Wow!! That's a serious change in working/waking hours.
5 years ago I went from a job where I could come and go as I pleased to a new one where I had to be there at 6am. It was brutal. I have never been a morning person.
I hate to tell you this but I needed to create a sleeping routine and environment. Very methodical in order to calm down for early sleep. I had to use sleeping pills, too. It helped me get into the new routine. I still hated it but at least I got a little sleep.
The pills prescribed by my doc were pretty mild (Temazapam - generic for Restoril). They weren't 'knock-out' pills - just helped my brain be quiet. I could be easily roused, if needed. I still keep some in my medicine cabinet for nights when I just can't get to sleep.
The good thing about getting up so early is that sometimes you are just too tired to even realize that you are actually 'up' - and by the time you wake up, your day is nearly over. It's pretty nice getting out of work at 3pm when the sun is still shining and the stores are still open and you have a little energy left in you.
Enjoy!
