  i used to entertain a lot but haven't in a few years.

  now my husband and i have moved to a new house and i have invited some friends for sunday dinner, to see the new house.

  i am at a loss to come up with something interesting to serve.

  a BIG fly. Suddenly it landed on my laptop keyboard and without thinking I slammed the laptop closed, so now it has a huge pissed off fly in it

  OMG!! Too funny. Almost as freaky as having a moth fly around your face and when you smack it, it's smooched in one of your nostrils. (Happened to me )

  Huntington Gardens. Out by Pasadena. It's been a long time since I've been there but was lovely. My sister-in-law grew up in that area. After I ditch my crutches, might be a nice little trip and I'd love to meet you.

  i've always thought about putting together a vacation package for just ex-jw's.

  if say, one was put together to stay several days at a place like the acapulco princess hotel in mexico, or the rose hall hotel in jamaica with lunches, dinners and entertainment all included and swiming pools galore would you come?

  maybe a package that includes airfare and everything for $1500 or so per person!.

  DFing because of doubts

  i was looking in the insight book under dfing (it refers you to expelling instead) and found the following list of reasons for dfing:.

  some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.. it sounds like doubt in god and/or the wt would all be grounds, but where do they fit under the list?

  would they label this as idolatry or apostasy, maybe?

  Mini strokes-TIAs

  i had three mini strokes last july.

  i went thru a lot of tests august thru november and nothing was found.

  this past saturday, i had another one.

  I know a woman who had TIAs about 9 years ago. She took about 9 months (??) off work to deal with them and then went back to nearly full schedule.

  Last I saw/heard, she was doing well.

  See a doctor. Follow the directions. Stay well.

  Are you choosy and pickey?

  i eat the same bread since years, and i love it, and wouldn't change for anything else.

  but since a few months it's harder to find because it's not the best seller so the grocery store holds many other kinds, but i'm choosy and pickey and i know what i like.. since a week, i can't find that bread, so today i drove over 300 km's going to different towns and different grocery stores to see if i would find it there.....but no...i didn't.

  i see other loaves of bread of the same make that i'm looking for, but not exactly that particular one.. so, i wrote to the company who makes the bread, and told them that they sell a product that can't be found anywhere, and it's not discontinued.... if anyone sees this bread, please pm me.. .

  Did you try asking the mfgr here the nearest retailer is?
