so we all survive the great tribulation and now as the dead bodies of 99.9% of the world's population begin to stink up the place, the bodies become bloated and the flesh begins to fall off of the bones what happens when the elders tell us to grab a shovel and haul the corpses to a mass grave site for burial or perhaps a mass cremation and you tell them that you will not bury dead bodies.. what will the elders do?

(i guess they are princes now since we are on the other side of the gt) will they haul the person into the back room of the candlelit kingdumb haul for a judicial meeting?

if the person is unrepentant and doesn't follow direction from god will they be disfellowshipped or forced to move to a colony for troublemakers?

Maybe something positive having more to do with your own personal growth and determination (as opposed to negative energy aimed at a particular organization riddled with controversy). This growth can represent broad growth and embracing of a wide range of interests and involvement rather than limited to an obscure belief system.

Positive energy, Law of Attraction type of thing?

A phoenix rising? A flower blooming? Chrysallis??

Maybe mark it with the date of your official decision to end affiliation and take charge of your own life.

Maybe try Google Images for "personal growth tattoo ideas".

i need a bit of advice.

i've been pimo for a long time and fading more and more.

i occasionally attend for family but never give any answers or actively participate in any way.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you did great.

Keep up the charade but maybe skip a few more meetings in the next 2-3 weeks. Let them see that their effort to 'encourage' you has exactly the opposite effect.

When they push, you recede further.

It will help to condition the new COBE to *not* push you or make you feel more guilty. Let him clearly see that you are not someone he can rely on to help with KH or FS matters.

Let their shepherding call backfire on them by taking your fade to the next level.

A suggestion of somethings to do on meeting nights is see a movie by yourself, work overtime, go to your local library. Or just go to bed early.

she stand with women and with those men equally outraged by discrimination who support us in heart and mind.

rebbie and mom (both jw) front row seats when she gave credit to her father for their success, no mention of mom and jehovah.

I Went To My Brother’s Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall

i have to say that the talk was very good.

instead of just repeating a jw manual , the speaker actually spoke about my brother!

there were a few scriptures with the jw hope but 80 % of the talk was actually about the life of my brother.

If family leaves the memorial meeting to the organization they will get the stale organizational pitch.

My personal experience is that if family wants the service to be personal, the family has to request it. One of the best ways to do that is to select who the speaker will be. Then spend a few minutes with the speaker to let him know that you want it to be personal.

It can be done.

Glad it worked out well in your case, min. Sorry to learn of the loss of your brother.
