  Find the Beatles Songs in the Picture

  some light entertainment ... there are apparently 39 beatles songs hidden in the picture, but depending on how to interpret some of them you may come up with more.. please post one each, to give everyone a go, and describe where the song is in the picture (so it's not just coming up with a list of beatles songs).

  also, check for existing answers - i'll post summaries to show the ones already identified.. .

  Child sexual abuse suspect arrested in T.O.

  a 69-year-old thousand oaks man facing multiple sexual abuse charges by the ventura county district attorney’s office was arrested last week, authorities said.. steven skyler abbott was arrested dec. 6 after months of investigation into the reported sexual abuse of two thousand oaks girls, according to the ventura county sheriff’s office.

  in november, the ventura county district attorney’s office filed multiple felony sexual abuse charges against abbott, including two counts of continuous sexual abuse, one count of lewd acts upon a child and one count of forcible lewd acts upon a child.. he is also facing multiple felony enhancements and special allegations related to his charges.. the investigation began in september, when the sheriff’s agency received a report of suspected child crimes.. a 16-year-old victim alleged that she was sexually abused by abbott when she was between the ages of 5 and 11, sheriff’s officials said.. sexual assault unit detectives subsequently identified a second, 24-year-old victim who reported that abbott had abused her when she was between the ages of 3 and 7, authorities said.. the sheriff’s agency said the victims and their families had come into contact with abbott through the kingdom hall of jehovah’s witnesses in newbury park.. investigators submitted their findings to prosecutors, who filed felony sexual abuse charges against abbot on nov. 16, officials said.. on nov. 28, an arrest warrant was issued for abbott.. the suspect was eventually arrested at his home on dec. 6 and booked into ventura county jail.

  without going into the details here i’ve had a renewed call to take direct action and preparing to protest at a convention very soon.. where could i find the figures paid out by the wts to survivors of abuse in their organisation?

  I think 1600 offenders is not accurate. I believe the stated number is 1006.

  If you are going to post something, best to be incredibly accurate (or underestimate if you are uncertain).

  JW Mother Dying.... Not a Big Deal.... But it Should Be

  i’ve been shunned for many years so her passing doesn’t really constitute a loss for me.

  her and her husband made it clear many years ago they didn’t want a homo in their family.

  So sorry, Zoos. Death of an estranged family member triggers so many complicated emotions. It's harder in some ways than with someone we've had good relationship.

  For me, I think I grieved the loss of any resolution and minimal good memories of the person who has passed.

  He went to the meeting today!

  so after almost 5 months of not attending meeting, today my husband decided to attend the special talk.

  i am sad, frustrated, nervous, but also hopeful that he will see something that he never did before .

  lies and manipulation.

  Special Talk? Isn't that usually AFTER the memorial?

  Regardless, as KimD said above, maybe he will see things that he never noticed before and get to thinking that something is just not right.

  I had that same problem, too. I created a new account and mentioned my old account in my bio.

  Others have created new accounts with alias's very similar to the original and added '2' to the name or 'un-' to the beginning of the name if the original declared a jw status.

  The biggest drawback to me is that I have no way of knowing if someone has messaged me on my original account. A 'merge' could fix that.

  Funeral Fashion

  i have a funeral to attend for a non jw family member and the jdub family member reminded me that i should not wear black.

  for the life of me, i can't recall where this belief came from in jw teachings and i'm born in.

  is there something in print or is that just a personal opinion belief?

  In normal funerals/memorials, this would be paramount. But as the OP is discussing a JW funeral, the prime entity being honored is WT/jw.org.

  so after years of being out of the orginization, and using a pseudonym i have put my face out there for the world to see.

  the repercussions have been real.

  but i am also convicted in my stance.
