  Knee Diagnosis is in; Need questions to ask the surgeon

  first of all, thanks for all of you who gave me suggestions for getting around on crutches.

  i've used most of the suggestions with very good results.

  ok. now i finally have a diagnosis (actually diagnoses) for my knee and will meet with a knee specialist on thursday.

  Easy, Healthful Snacks - Suggestions wanted.

  this is an extension of my other thread ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/114967/1.ashx) but seemed to warrant it's own heading since it will probably attract different people and can have so many other applications, too.. since i'm home alone nursing a broken ankle and injured knee, getting downstairs to make breakfast and other meals is pretty difficult right now.. .

  does anyone have any suggestions for foods to keep upstairs that are reasonably healthy and do not require refrigeration?

  i can bring up a coffee pot for coffee and tea.

  does anyone have any tricks or tips for getting around on crutches??.

  i did a stupid thing friday afternoon and ended up in the emergency room with a broken ankle and a torn up knee.

  i'm now on crutches - lucky me... .

  today i must say good-bye to a friend i have known for 14 years.

  sylvester was only four months old when he and his brother scout moved in with me - a dog person - and my australian shephard.

  the kittens were supposed to be pets for the 10-year-old.
