.. you scored as agnosticism.
you are an agnostic.
though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in god, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic.
You scored as atheism. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

i just read the thread on 'double lifers' and 'still in jws'.. first i just want to say welcome to all you newbies and 'hello' to all you readers who still haven't got up the courage to join jwd and post yet.
we look forward to hearing from you.. i found the above thread very sad.
there are so many young jws especially held captive in the jw religion, by fear of shunning, and so many older ones trapped for the same reason.. all i can say in comfort is 'hold on to your own mind and thoughts now.
Thank you. Also thanks to my brother, Muffinman, for showing me this forum.
I'm just waiting for the time when I can leave JW's and stay as far away as possible from "kingdom halls" and any of the JW nonsense.
:\
one of the previous posts made me wonder how many active jws post on this site and how many of you are only in because not wanting to lose your family and you are leading a double life and also how many of you are still active but questioning.
please, all of you, i would like to hear your stories (of course not enough info to give away your identity) and why you are still in.
i think a lot of us that are out would be interested.. nowimfree.
Well, I guess Muffinman will have the guts to do so before I do.
Keep it up, bro.
i am trying to build a list of hipocrisy with in the borg.
i dont mean things like the un scandal as people in the hall wont have heard of that, but smaller stuff that goes on all the time with out the rank and file noticing.
infant baptism.
Apparently Jehovah likes ex-JW's that come back again, more than JW's that have been "loyal" all their life.
JW's are told be nice people and act kindly to non-JW's (especially if there's a chance that they can make those people join them), yet they're told to believe that everyone, except for JW's, will die pretty horrible deaths "when" Armageddon comes.

Well, I would leave if I could. I'm still waiting for the day when I pull myself together and confront my mom with the fact that I barely believe any of the JW's teachings. I'm just too much of a coward to do so. :\ Also, since I'm still pretty young I'm "forced" to go to the meetings and such.

a few months ago, a danish newspaper printed a set of cartoons about mohammad, the most important prophet of the moslem religion.
a few weeks ago, a small norwegian newspaper followed, and also printed the drawings.
moslems all over the moslem world are now rallying against both the newspapers and the danish and norwegian governments, which they hold responsible for this.
Well, I think it's gone too far. It started out as 12 satiric cartoons of Muhammed, and now several countries have boycotted Denmark and demanded the danes in those countries to leave. The cartoons were meant to show the importancy of freedom of speech in Denmark, and now alot of muslims complain about it, because it's against their religion, but not against the law in Denmark. The crazy thing about this is, that they don't just blame the newspaper or the people who drew the cartoons, but whole friggin' Denmark and everything that has to do with it!
The classic politics vs. religion.
