  if the newspapers/media will not cover the news from barbara anderson maybe a decent size ad in a large circulation newspaper would be helpful to get the word out?

  everybody chip in$?

  anybody good with arranging that sort of ad and willing to use their name to place it?

  My suggestion would be to type out a really "non salesy" press release and submit to DIGG.com then all of us can digg the article and try to get it on the front page. Just my thought.

  Wow I found this really interesting because I have found more and more that JW's and Former JW's suffer from many different mental issue's. (Myself included)
  
  But what astonishes me the most... is Bi Polar Disorder seems to be very VERY common in the religion. I had 4 close friends of mine who were JW's all diagnosed with Bi Polar.
  
  I would be curious to see a study done on Jehovah's Witnesses and Bi Polar Disorder.
  
  (I also knew a couple "brothers" with schizophrenia too!)
  
  Oh and these were people that were born into the religion as well. So it wasn't as if they were "weak minded" people that the dubs preyed upon.
  
  Anyways, I wish you the best

  i'm not talking about internet friends, but friends close by in your town.. so, do you have as many friends as you would like to have?.

  when i was young and going to school, i had a few friends, but now i don't have any friends, but on the other hand, i'm a loner and i don't really care.

  i'm not really searching for friends.

  I have no friends near me. Just one best friend really, but he is on the other side of the country from me now. We talk a lot on the phone still but it just isn't the same. I wish I had friends, I need friends, but alas I am alone :-/

  LCD all the way. The picture is generally clearer, and you don't have to worry about burn-in from static images (unlike plasma's).

  i was wondering... i have been avoiding someone on the phone for months.

  i usually keep my cell phone off for days and weeks at a time.

  but somehow whenever i do turn my phone on, i get a call within a couple of minutes.. now at first i thought it was just a coincidence.... but not anymore, it happens every time i turn on my phone.

  I was wondering... I have been avoiding someone on the phone for months. I usually keep my cell phone off for days and weeks at a time. But somehow whenever I do turn my phone on, I get a call within a couple of minutes.. Now at first I thought it was just a coincidence.... but not anymore, It happens EVERY time i turn on my phone. Is there some software out there that will show a person when you have turned on your phone and it connects to the network? It's creeping me out.

  How Can I Order Court Documents?

  i am interested if at all possible in ordering the court documents showing the wtbts indeed settled out of court, and placed a gag order on the 14 victims in california.

  are those documents considered public record?

  if so can someone point me in the right direction?

  So then i guess my question is how do you know that they settled out of court if there is no paper document showing they settled? The fact that so many people know has to come from somewhere. I guess I was hoping for some sort of document that showed they settled all these cases. That would have been a breaker for some of my family. :-/ Cuz without "proof" they would just dismiss it as apostate rumors. *sigh*

  Another news story today on abuse settlements...

  a friend of mr f heard a story on kfbk sacramento radio news a little after 8 this am...3 people in woodland ca received their settlement money, and 7,000 others have come forward with accusations.

  i can't find it anywhere - does anyone know about this?

  Men who speak lies - Need scripture

  clyde and i are looking for a scripture - seems like it should be in psalms.

  it says something like, "i have not sat at the table of men who speak lies.

  " (or falsehood).

  "4 I have not sat with men of untruth;" That scripture is perfect when you think about the recent Watchtower article that stated 'every lie is an untruth, but not every untruth is a lie.' So it doesnt say sitting at the table with liars, but with men of untruth! Thus another reason to stay away from this cult that says its bad to lie, but ok to tell an 'untruth'.
