Good post dad (RockHound) My personal opinion on the whole matter is we need to blame their stupidity on their education, I mean their lack of education. Just think they are programmed way more than we ever were. Dan the elders resent you because they know you are in your 20's and already know more than they do. Maybe you can ask if you can keep appealing these JC meeting and keep recording them. They are GREAT!!!!!

What ever happened to the scripture that states it will come like a theif in the night? I sure hope if someone ever plans on breaking in my home I hope they give me as much notification as the society does about the great tribulaton

Anyone Feel This Way?

i am married to a christian who believes that anytime now true believers in christ will be raptured up to heaven; every time the news shows things going on in the middle east my husband gets all excited and talks about how he doesn't want to be left behind.

after being involved for years in the jdubs and having nightmares of armageddon and all that, i feel happy just living my day-to-day existence and not worrying about my 'afterlife'.. in fact, i could care less about the afterlife and whether i go to heaven or hell; partly because no one really knows what's going to happen to me when i die.

the only thing i care about in my life is being a good mom to my kids, nothing else matters to me besides enjoying each day i have here right now on this earth--enjoying time with friends and family, vacations to disneyland, visiting the ocean or the snow.. i feel annoyed when my spouse starts talking about his beliefs, because i just feel so ambivilent toward the future.

I was stunned when my friend pointed out to me that the word Armageddon is not even in the bible. It says see Harmageddon which is a place not an act of the great war. Interesting point

Its not so much family that they have but my husband and I are not sure what we want to do because we have my husbands family that are in the false. I am one of the few fortunate ones who has a family that is always posting on this site. We all left the false together after my parents informed us about their false findings

My closes friend asked me today if her and her husband should just go ahead and write a letter of disassociation or wait to be DF. Many months ago I talked with them about 607, etc. all the things I was finding out. They quit going to meetings in Dec. 2005 and have been getting visits and call and have been avoiding them. The last time an elder talked with them was about 4 months ago and he came up with so many bogus answers to their questions. They have come to realize many things wrong just like most of us on here. They are tired of living everyweekend on edge wondering who is going to stop by. What is your advice as to what they should do?
