Da Judge was so enraged at the 'authorities' for imprisoning him, that it seems everything he wrote, or edited thereafter, was a direct attack on them. I think he sat at his desk dreaming up ways to piss off the world.

He did a very good job. No military service, no Christmas, no birthday's, no cross, no, no, no to everything religion or the 'nations' held sacred. Funny he never had to spend another day in jail, yet his cult followers like my father suffered severe beatings and jail time time after time.

Forcing jw's to 'scream' out his message with loud speaker's while he sat peacefully secure in oppulent comfort siping a cool one. He was the 'chosen one' of god, ya know.

There is no 'honor' in any war. I don't care if it is a bar room fight between two individual antagonists. Fighting is a dirty rotten business. Most professional soldier's will be the first to agree.

Where there is no true 'honor', is when the fight begins, those on the sidelines, whose very freedoms and lifestyles have been, time after time secured by those who do the dirty work (soldier's).......stand by taunting, jeering, deflating the soldier's will, effort and willingness to do the job. That is dishonorable.

Thanks for making my point.

Even plausable deniablility is mute after reviewing your post.

So we are going to get all huffy about who sold what to whom, and just stick our heads in the sand.........were so bad we sold arms. Like we did not know that already.

Even more reason to enforce the already sanctioned UN directives. Similar to a police dept. when you id a cop who can't handel the weapon, it's time to take the gun away!

So far North Korea has not invaded the south. So far Isreal has not lobbed any nukes on Egypt. So far China has not invaded Japan. Sadam did in fact invade Saudi Arabia, Sadam did in fact use chemical weapons on his own people. Sadam did cause one of the worlds most catastrophic enviromental disaster's in mankind history. Sadam did, and does continue to threaten and provoke his neighbors. Sadam does abuse his countryman. Sadam does commit daily violation of civil rights.

So lets just give him more chances to change. Yeah right.

Technically niether did Afganistan. Sadam may not be a card carrying member of the Taliban, but I would guess every time those Iraqi anti-aircraft gunner's fires upon a coalition jet, they shout the praise's of Allah, and hope to Allah that they are successful in downing one of the 'Great Satan's' planes.

This talk of Sadam not being, just as fanatical, or less able to carry out Islamic fundemental terror, is beyond hopeful, it is a receipe for getting caught with our pants down again. I hope I never have to witness another WTC, or similar attack again.

Bush said it from 9-11 on, any country that harbor's or condones terror is an enemy. Tell me Sadam does not qualify on both counts.

Why is it that every time we get into these discussion, someone has to bring up Hitler?

The name chosen just to well up all sorts of emotion, thrown into the conversation willy nilly the subject matter at hand. Almost any subject is ripe for the 'well Hitler' was like that. Well la de da. The platitudes in bringing up this name are to numerous to mention.

Lets just talk about the current despot Sadam, eh?

Fear smear...........fear is one of the three reactions we use on a daily basis. Flee, Stay, or Fight, are usually what we all do when confronted by it.

What are we going to do now? If you are not in FEAR of Sadam, you better learn some.

You and I don't agree often, but in this case were soul brother's.

Apparently those who are so passionate about 'no war', 'not enough evidence', 'give peace a chance', have not considered fully the ramifications if they are wrong.

Just how much remorse, no complete abject sorrow, will they feel if because of thier collective disdain for those we elect to make these hard decisions, causes a hesitation or even a withdrawal from this confrontation, resulting the unleashing of just one of these KNOWN/UTILIZED Iraqi WMD are unleashed????

Even more pathetic the picture, if one of these weapon's is released on our homeland soil. Oh sure let's just ignore the 3,000 lives sacrificed to the Islamic fundementalist agenda, I mean Saddam isn't an Islamic fundy now is he. Geeze the ignorance of some, is appalling!

What does this ego maniacle despot have to do, to convince people he is out for no good? Come knocking on your back doors, with his firing squads, looking for anyone with the slightest doubt about his good will?

He like any other bully, cries to be dealt with, if you are willing to abide a bully, then be prepared to suffer his blows, now or later, bully's always come back to those they can intimadate and bufallo. It time to slap the bully upside the head!

Recently I have become even more intrigued by this early history. My grandfather a former methodist minister, just up and left his pulpit after listening to one lecture by a Bible Student colporter. He later became what I guess would now be considered a District Overseer. I don't remember the exact title.

I believe that Russell's death and Rutherford's takeover, actually was one of the main reason's for the rift in my grandfather's marriage. My mother going into Bethel service not long after Russell's death, while my grandfather started writing and publishing his own religious views. My mother never talked to my grandfather again. Both are dead and gone, but the family was ripped apart by all this religious fervor.

I guess you can understand why Iam so interested in all these time lines and events.

I believe that very soon another book will be released focusing on Rutherford and his political leanings. Sounds like there will be alot of new info to be released. Looking forward to reading the results of your seven year project.
