  i remember being a kid and we didnt have the fancy fabric seats, they were plastic stackable chairs all set out in the usual lines.. an elderly bro, rather rotund, farted, the noise so loud and thundering against the plastic seat!

  or the time when i must have been about 7, my dad brought his bible study family to their first ever meeting, i had to sit on mums knee.

  i recall giving the daughter of the new family a very vigorous v sign during the meeting.

  These are hilarious!An old brother once commented during one of the sex WT`s that it may not be possible for a couple to 'come together, at the same time'. Cue the hysterical laughing of a very immature and sexually deprived pioneer sister.

  2 pioneers involved an old sister in a wheel chair to do a demo. She went on at LENGH about the state of the world and got right into it as if she was actually on a call. She wasn't asked up much on the platform. The 2 pioneers were literally pissing themselves whilst she went on and on and on. The brother taking the part was even struggling to hold it in. The old sister actually told the pio in charge of her wheel chair to "go away", as she knew he was taking the piss. This was all during the part and in front of 50 people. The pio immitated shuffling his feet to make her believe that he was leaving the platform. Later she sighed loudly when she realised he was still there. I was crying with laughter in the back room. The PO went off his facking head in the days after THAT part.

  It really does upset me when I hear stories like this. The shunning policy is unbelievably cruel and heartless. This was one of my problems which lead to my cutting ties with the org. As a father of 2 beutiful children, I can never imagine acting anything like this toward them. You are in my thoughts. Best wishes, Jambon.

  Relating to the opening post; If there is one thing that pisses me off about JW`s is how defensive they get when you simply present the facts. Birthdays, date setting, wedding rings, brides wearing white, etc, etc. They know that there is no basis for their stand at the moment or that it seems hypocritical to so one but rule out the other. That is why they get so upset. They know its a crock of bulshyte themselves! Or, on the other hand, 'how dare you question the org'. LMFAO!

  Regardless of any truth in the rest of your post jambon1, that was a VERY sweeping comment to make about 6.5 million individuals. You could have just as easily got your point accross without the use of language like this.

  I realise that many JW`s are nice people who are just sadly brainwashed. I would call those who stubornly refuse to acknowledge the wickedness of the WTS as pretty weak minded individuals.

  In relation to their personal viepoint &'hope for the future' being the death of the entire human race except them, then I stand by my comments entirely - selfish, moronic, idiotic.

  or some other form of material advantage, credited to god as the provider.. now, let's for a wee minute, assume that these were actual blessings from god.

  Now, let's for a wee minute, assume that these were actual blessings from God. He actually took action. He looked at the pioneers situation and arranged things so that they were materially provided for.

  Is it just me or is that not God doing something, taking action on behalf of someone for non-spiritual reasons?

  You see, when it comes to a brother being decapitated or a witness sister being raped by soldiers or a kid being molested, they will say this;

  "Ahh, but god only protects his people in a SPIRITUAL sense".

  Well, blow me! These people worship a god that will put £200 or $$$`s through some pioneers letterbox (action required on the part of Jehover). But, he will not save (take action for) a baby/infant/child from a terrifying experience of molestation. Sometimes repeated time after time for years.

  See Jehovah. I don't like him.

  I think he is a poor excuse for a father figure. I step in to protect my kids for ANYTHING. I take action for them at any given time, no matter what.
