I feel the same. They accept that Jehovah intervenes in human afairs to make sure that a pioneer gets his car bill paid by an envelope through the door, yet he won't intervene in human afairs when it comes to matters like helping Elizabeth & millions of other children who are being abused.

700 million babies to be slaughtered
by hamsterbait inthe world population increases by 70 million each year.. this means that on the day armageddon strikes, at least 700 000 000 babies under the age of 10 wil be slaughtered.. 192 000 of these will be less than 24 hours old, many of them killed with their head barely hanging out of their mothers vagina.. how can the witlesses love a god that would do this - even long for it??.
it strikes me that for the witlesses morality is entirely relative.. i well remember the kingdumb song: "some paint god cruel" (wt does!!!).

If the Bible was written more clearly, would there be a need to preach?
by easyreader1970 inpart of the reason there are so many divisions and opinions and versions of the bible is because, quite honestly, alot of it just doesn't make any sense.
it's full of symbolism, metaphors, allegories, parables, and even some of the narratives conflict with themselves.
the book of revelation makes no sense at all.

So far there are about 3 thousand sects claiming to see what it really says. Just what god would want eh? What a load of old bollox.

"I hope that I can look out the window & watch it all happening". I went home and thought; 'WTF am I a part of here'? I really felt sad that a middle aged man had such horrible feelings toward his felow man.

Welcome. I was in the exact same position as you 3 years ago. You spoke about feeling imprisoned. It was that which eventually made me feel that life wasn't worth living. I considered suicide. I knew the consequences of leaving would be terrible. But I eventually got the courage to go. My 2 kids finally put the lid on my life as a JW. I just couldn't bring them up & teach them the JW way of life. When I left, I was determined that I would be a decent non JW. I went through a pretty tough time with my wife for over a year, but it has now evened out remarkably well. You have to be determined to fight for your kids. Your wife has no right to take them off you just because you are not a JW. You need to show her that things can work even though you are not a JW. If you need a chat then please PM me. I have had a lot of experience in your situation & now realise where I went wrong & what I did right. All the best

How do I get over my Family treating me Like an Outcast
by moonpie inhello, i've been disfellowshipped for almost six years and it's still hard not being able to communicate with them.
i talk to my mom once a week, but my dad won't pick up the phone to talk to me.
i have 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

This is the most destructive, unloving and hideous thing about the JW religion. I would rather tear my heart out & die than shun my kids. Frankly, any parent who can do this is mentally ill or sick in the mind. Devoid of all natural emotion. Try to let them know how you feel. Try this a few times. If they do not respond then distance your emotions from them. They are, at that point, simply not worth it. Its hideous. My thoughts are with you.
