Do all people go to heaven - my wife has started her "Bible Study"
by insearchoftruth inok, just got off the phone with my wife and she has started a new bible study with still another new sister.
she likes this woman, unfortunately.
well my wife's original intention was to learn how to study the bible, well it seems that the sister twisted this to ask her to provide a topic she wants to know more about and then she will show my wife what the bible says about this.

I am guessing there is a very heavy use of the Reasoning Book and the Insight book to get to the answers.
Today's topic was Do All People Go to Heaven, and my wife says it was very interesting and she learned some new things.....
Now I would like to be able to plant some seeds for further research here and I think this is a good topic, but I am pretty unlearned in these matters, so any help is appreciated. Do any of you have ideas of what the sister would most likely have focused on as well as some good areas where I could have my wife read full sections of the bible, rather than proof texts, to fine out what the Bible is really saying.
I may have an opportunity to raise questions on the recent change to the remnant definition and this could lead to more seeds, but much help is needed.
I am also going to post on JWD, with a link to here as well, cause I need all the help I can get!!!

HELP! The Bible-God's Word or Man's - it looks like my wife is reading this
by insearchoftruth inany tips on the subject book, my wife has this book out and it appears that it may be the book she is going to be reading to help her read the bible.
is there a copy i can download somewhere, any list of fallacies with this book or doctrinal twists??.

JWD form being removed. WTBTS will rejoice
by Jim Dee inthe post a few days ago saying that the discussion forum must be removed is sad.
its sad because it gives troubled ones a way of leaving the wtbts its sad because it removes support to ones damaged by the wtbts its upsetting because free voice against the wtbts has been removed
my brother in law - co in uk - said the announcement went through london bethel like a dose of salts.

I have posted a list of some of the ones that are getting some publicity here since Simon made the announcement.....I think this will just renew some zeal from the folks, plus some of these offshoot sites may be more friendly to a person who has been pretty much a die hard jw, or has pretty solid jw views.

The problem for the WTBTS will be they will find replacementS!!!!
There will be sites that are more tailored to certain communities who need help, rather than a one size fits all approach, I think this may provide more chat, more information sharing and more issues for the WTBTS. I think one will need to spend more time lurking, but in a smaller and more inclusive community, folks will be more willing to share and contribute!!

Well said Junction-Guy, rather than knowing where to watch for a lot of the chatter, the chatter will now come from all directions....and from multiple methods as well. I am sure some at bethel are secretly cheering, or maybe loudly, but the internet is a very scary thing for the wts, many torrents sites to get the old literature and many sites for folks to learn about the org.....and get support as needed and requested..
