Does your family still think you are coming back?

despite having left before even being baptized, i would have to say my parents still wholeheartedly believe i will someday come around, .
get baptized, become active and maybe even become an elder !

My mom thinks that if I leave "that man"(my significant other of 5 yrs) I would be free to go to the meetings again. Although I have told her and my family that I have no intention in going back. He doesn't care either way how I worship. I have told them that I am never facing a group of men that have no qualifications to council me or tell me what to do to be right with God. But they still mention how great the meeting was and how much I missed a great talk or mention a great scripture that puts them at ease.

Did you ever feel like you never fit in?
by Dragonlady76 inwhen i was growing up in dubland, i always felt like i never "fit" in with the other kids in the cong or their families.
i always knew deep down that i didn't like being a jw and their had to be more to life than meetings and field service.
i just wanted to be normal, like the other kids and have sleepovers, birthday parties, after school activities and christmas etc..... my folks were and still are devout dubs and my dad in particular is the nicest man you will ever meet, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, no questions asked.

stomach gets in knots, sometimes I have flashbacks of being one of those kids being drug around in exteme heat......
My kids answered the door once when the elders came to do a shepherdung and told them, "My mom can't come to the door she is giving the baby titty." They came later and my husband unknowingly told them the same thing........ Oh well I thought that was funny.......They never came back tho

Men in the Passenger Seat / Questions 4 Women Drivers

call me crazy, ok, my wife does, all the time, but are you able to detect a sense of minimal self esteem issues when watching him.
you can almost always tell when it's not his car, there's an entirely different demeanor to his persona, he appears submissive, more humble.

My boyfriend(5 yrs) is a state trooper. When he is a passenger in my car, all I hear is what violations he would love to write me up for. He even makes the stupid siren noise sometimes.
If anyone asks to drive my car or borrow it, I ask if they paid my insurance this month. Then that is the answer.

Outrageous Housecleaning stories.

i did one job and that was it for me!!
it is certainly no fun cleaning peoples filth but i did hear some weird stories.

I had always had good clients in the past sooooo.....once when I needed some extra income I went to the local workforce office looking for a house to clean so they gave me this assignment, them saying this lady may have a few cats. Well that was an understatement. She had more than 15 cause I quit counting. That was the grossest thing I ever went thru. Let's just say I did my best and threw away what I had on when I got out of there.

ok Evil do you listen to them to keep you awake from barfing. personally they make my ears bleed.
Since I can take my baby to work with me, we share a taquito(tortilla,eggs.cheese,bacon) from Whataburger on our drive to work. If you are from Texas you know what a Whataburger is.
