  Inquisition scheduled for tonight

  i need some input on how to proceed with a scheduled meeting with elders i haven't seen in 18mo.

  i have not attended a meeting in over 2yrs.

  they sent a letter requesting my presents at 8:00 pm tonight.

  Anyone interested in a new Elder Video?

  ok here's the plan: i am planning on writing the elders a letter stating my concerns over issues such as 607 bce, un, their de-emphsis on jesus.

  i am a major techo freak, i have spy camaras with color and sound, webcams, a cell phone with 512mb of memory that can take video's with sound and high quality tape recorders.

  i am having car troubles right now, so the elders are going to come over to my house to meet.

  why do they never phone first and make an appointment?

  i have asked them to do this but they won't comply.

  Sickoflies, do you have a peephole in your front door? ; If you do next time the elders pop over, call the cops then hold them at the door and tell the cops that you did not let them in the building, they are tresspassing and won't leave you alone. ; At least that's what I would do.

  Indeed, I have thought about this, I'm just wondering if I can keep them at the door long enough for the police to arive?? I think I have a plasuable defence for breaking and entering if I spray them though because I didn't give them premission to enter the building.

  I am also being confronted with this problem, they try and show up at my door unannouned. I mean seriously, I live in an appartment and they don't even buzz up, they wait until someone lets them in and come knocking on my door!! How rude is that? In Canada it's illegal to own a gun so I've bought some pepper spray instead to try and next time they try I'm gonna teach them a lesson about intruding on peoples privacy!

  imagine, if it was possible, if you could go back in time, some 20 or 30 or even 50 years in the past, and telling the witnesses back then, that by 2006, absolutely nothing the watchtower predicted would happen.

  Stepdaughter wants B-Day

  so yesterday my two soon to be stepkids boy12,girl 9, came over for a visit with their dad.

  their mom is a dub, her dad is an elder, my man is d'fd.

  anyway, i was just sitting in my room feeding the baby when girl comes in and asks if im gonna start throwing her birthday parties.

  I wouldn't invite the mother, I would keep it quite and just tell the girl to kept it as a secret between you and her, she will probably be ok with this because she wouldn't want her mom getting mad at her for wanting such a pagan ritual being preformed for her.

  Spreading Discension while participating in the Theocratic Ministry School

  were you part of the theocratic ministry school and if so did you ever try to subtley spread discension among the flock by attacking the watchtower doctrine with nuances when you were on your way out of the organization??

  or did you use the opportunity to get self-righteous and ram some frivolous dribble down the throats of the audience perhaps out of revenge for all the mindless crap you had to listen to for the next hour afterwards..... did you ever know anyone that would get up on the platform and say " hello...goodbye" and just walk off...??.

  curious had someone do that once...lol.

  I have considered this question as well, it seems to me that before I came here, even though I knew it wasn't the truth I would consider staying for my family and friends. But know that I've been here I don't feel that way at all. I have often wondered, why don't I have any doubts? It seems to me that people on here for the most part are 100% secure with their commitment to leave, but wouldn't it be natural to have doubts? I reminds me of a conversation I had with my dad and he said that Jebovah had removed the 'truth' from my heart. Well I'm grateful for that, but seriously, I think it is because once you see the amont of decption that they use and the amount of pain they have cause its like waking up from a bad dream. You would never again consider joining such a sham.
