This is somewhat old news, but I'm suprised that no one has started a thread about this yet, when I first saw this on CNN and they specificly mentioned JW's for being the LOWEST retention rate of any religion I thought JWD would be all a buzz with activity about this subject.

I think you got it wrong, as an atheist I don't say that it is not possible that 'god' could exist, because no one can define what 'god' is. I merely assert that none of the worlds religions can possibly have an inspired account written by the creator of the universe.

Hmmm, you know the bible's explanation of 'God did it' is very simple. I can understand the appeal, it can make a stupid person feel smart, like they know something other people don't. It can make you think you know better than scientists who have spent years studying these subjects, written hundreds of books and preformed thousands of test. But you don't need to look at any of that, because you know that 'god did it' and that is enough. You can remain ignorant and not read or research what information is out there because you know you right and there cannot possibly be any evidence to prove you wrong. What a wonderful world view. Best of luck with that, and please don't forget to wear you helmet when you head out doors.
