has anyone heard about the documentary on pbs? its called "knocking". its about the wts. sounds like it will be a positive message about the assoc. does anyone know if the "dottering body" has anything to do with it?

My dog ate rat poison today
by Purza inyes, it has been one of those days.
not only did i see a car full of jws at home depot running out and targeting unsuspecting victims before they walked in the store, but when i reached my destination (our rental property) there were two jws at the door.
the two at the door only said hello to me and my husband and it probably had something to do with our dog growling at them.

your dog will be ok. vitamin k is the real deal when administered pronto. rat poion thins blood. it turns rats {and dogs) into instant hemophiliacs. my dog, buster, had it so bad one time, when the vet gave the shot the blood ran out of the injection site like a fire hydrant. if your dogs tongue turns pale ( not pink ) your best chance is to run home, invent a time machine, and go back to the vet like yesterday. im glad your dog is ok.

Sneak attacks continue it's starting to piss me off

i was a lowly worldling when i met (S) some 7 short years ago. she was a jw in good standing. it didnt take us long to fall in love. i had to study the bible... i mean the knowledge book in order to see her ( with any sense of approval from her pioneer mother). (S) was sick of the hypocritical brain washing she was being spoon fed 5 times a week. we set our plan in motion as i continued to "progress" towards baptism. i quickly took a real dislike to the gents in brooklyn, and had to bite my toungue many a time when i would discuss some of their dumbass ideas that flowed like honey from their lofty perch via the "AFAKE!" and "WASH TOWER". anyway, long story short, we married and have a beautiful baby (D), who will never have to put up with the kind of mind control that (S) had to for so long. after we married we never went back, or looked back. (S) grew up with that cult and knew it was wrong the entire 21 years of her life. i really genuinely like a lot of the regular folk at the kh., but i have a deep hatred for the gb., past present and future. they have cut a wide swath of death damage and destruction, in the years that they have "lorded it over" the rank and file. i dont bite my tongue anymore. i point it out to mommie dearest or any other lemming from the hall. (haul). whenever the opportunity presents itself. (S) always wanted to have a christmas tree, do holloween, and all the other fun things that the rest of the eternally destroyed do. we do. and so far, no reaction at all. (?) i met a member of the g.b. at a convention once, (before (S) and i were married). i shook his hand, said all the usual group speak he was accustamed to hearing, and went on my merry way. i told (S) afterword, that if i ever get the chance to meet him or any other again ..............i am going to kick him squarely in the nuts.

HELP in love with a jw woman
by kornnjw ini love this jehovah witness, and she is driving me crazy with her meetings, watch tower booklets, conventions.
of course i do sometimes go to her weird kingdom hall.

nope. why would an "all powerful" god use such a "fuzzy" mysterious book to reach all people. he could contact each person individually any time it was needed. why make it such a stupid fairy tale? my biggest fear is that "jehovah" is really the equivalent of an 8 year old, and some day his folks are going to be real pissed at the mess he made of earth and flush the whole works down the toilet. kind of like the old star trek episode.

by Super_Becka inok, i know the notion of pagan symbolism has been beaten to death on this board, but i still have a question about the whole concept.. so, the wts bans pagan elements.
we can see that in their arguments against christmas and christmas decorations, and other similar things.
they forbid the use of anything with pagan origins.
