Well we all have so much in common. We used to have a JW congregation, now we have an exJW congregatioin. No elders. We can say what we think when we want to. Even though we might not agree with each other we can still have a laugh.

I do notice a distinct tendency to get into the lighter sexual side rather than real serious political issues. I suppose that's due to years of suppression.

This eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus is all loopy. I had wine last night and bread today, but I don't imagine it to be Jesus Christ.

What is really loopy is the High Priests drinking the wine and eating the bread and us all thinking that it carries some significance beyond our collective imaginations. It does not.

This is the charter of Israeli coalition party Moledet, which calls for the 'ethnic cleansing' of Palestinians from the West Bank. Moledet is a coalition party in the Israeli government. It continues with the policies of it's founder Rechavan Ze'evi, whom they call 'Gandhi', and who vehemently called for the 'ethnic cleansing' of Palestinians, and was killed allegedly by Sa'adat of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, whom the Israeli army yesterday captured in a raid, killing a Palestinian policeman and another Palestinian prisoner.

Note, 'ethnic cleansing' is a Crime Against Humanity under the International Criminal Code; Slobodan Milosevic was recently charged with ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo.

Is the Moledet charter any less radical and undamentalist than the Hamas charter?

While we in the west regularly hear about Palestinian rocket attacks into Israeli settlements and also into Israel proper, we don't hear about the routine shooting of Palestinian children - both Muslim and Christian, by Israeli snipers;

If they know anything of hte Watchtower's zionist beginnings, that the witnesses spent their first "last days" whipping up physical Israel to go to Palestine, they wouldn't want anything to do with the Jehovah's Witnesses. I think it's fraudulent on the part of the WTBTS that they don't tell this to Muslim people when they proselytise and try to convert them to the WTBTS.

Anyway why would they give up Allah for Jehovah and his 144,000 virgin wives (apparently the wives are both male and female)?

i would like to write an article outlining some of the goofy stories that jws believe.

for example, when i was young, this story went around: .

a couple decided that they would miss the meeting to go to see a hypnotist.

There is the story of the sister who was out in service and called on a man. After she left the door, she was approached by two police officers who said that the man had just killed the last two people who had come to his door. When they arrested him, they asked him why they didn't kill the JW woman. He said that he wouldn't touch her because of the two big guys with her. She was alone.

I was told that one when I was studying!

I heard this too. Why is there no evidence of it actually happening, i.e. times, dates, names, who was killed etcetera.
