Yes I do want to know not invalidate anyones experiences at all. I was raised in the organization and indoctrinated from birth.
When I divorced my wife and was accused of totally false allegations and went before a judicial committee, people who I thought were my friends all my life bought into her crap except one I left and have never looked back, but I don't feel hatred or antagonism for the org.

the wts seems to affirm a lot that adam's blunder really screwed up the earth, and that the earth was not meant to be this place full of killing, disease, death, pain, etc.. but according to the wts version of the story, did god create the earth with these types of features before adam even came on the scene?
the wts does not deny the existance of dinosaurs, who in their words were created prior to mankind during the 5th or 6th symbolic day-ages.
yet its clear from fossilized remains that dinosaurs killed each other, had a high mortality rate, often died young, suffered from disease such as cancerous tumors: .
According to WTS teachings only the garden of Eden was a paradise remember an angel drove Adam and Eve out of Eden for their sin.

i think i fixed my computer..... it was always turning off for no reason.
i opened it up and cleaned the fan, and the computer goes well now....lets hope it will last.. other than that, i don't fix many things.. .
I fixed a way to survive this Dallas heat. Installing misters in our auto repair shop in front of big fans cools it down 20 degrees or more.

i have 2 jw's coming every freaking saturday to my auto repair shop (going on for about 9 weeks now) trying to get me to come back into the organization.
any suggestions on how to let them down easily?
a lot of them are my customers.

my two sisters did the right thing, pioneering straight out of school, janitoring to pay for the petrol (one didn't even bother with her final year of school).
it was this kind of fine example that got me guilt-tripped into auxiliary pioneering just after getting baptised at age 20. i only lasted six months; i took a holiday in queensland and returned not knowing much more about life but at least that it's bigger than my little congregation.
i despised the field service, i dreaded the daily schedule and every morning i was on my way out there was this awful countdown from the alarm going off to the first door opening, knowing that it's just a big setup to another depressing humiliation.
I did too, I started as a vacation pioneer when I was in 6th grade and became a regular pioneer by the time I was in 10th.
I did it because that was the thing you are suposed to do. I lied about the time I spent in FS I put down 104 hours or more on my card I had to turn in every month when really I only spent about 30. I finally woke up after 4 years of that stuff.

i always remember being told that the load jesus expected of his people was not something that should be a burden and basically if you think about the core to christianity, it is not.
basically, jesus said to love one another and to treat others how you would want to be treated and to respect the life you have.
i don't ever remember jesus saying, "have 5 meetings a week, two assemblies a year and one convention.

I remember being told that by 1975 we would be in the new system. also all of the 144k had been chosen by 1914 and that they had to be old enough to know and understand what was going on in the world. Here we are today and there are still people claiming to be of the anointed class. I was baptized in 1962 and was really indoctrinated and I understand the head trips people go thru when you leave or have doubts about th GB revelations
