I guess how they found out is I told them when they were coming to my shop I was looking at an internet site that investigated some of the claims jw's made. I also asked how is it women can be of the anointed and have no real role in the cong. You see my mom born in 1915 and my grandmother born in 1890 were all professing to be of the anointed class. I told them this and while I was married I had a very large library of very old books and magazines and even a record player from the 30's with Rutherfords recordings for going door to door. I still have some notes taken by grma in the 30's about adopting the name Jehovah's witnesses. I keep them because they were hers. She died in 1956 and my mom I found out died in 2003 THROUGH THE INTERNET NO LESS! My family has totally disowned me for my lifestyle and I now live 2000 miles away from all of them

i asked them what for?
i was told it was about my asking questions about wts involvement with the un and bethel layoffs and my getting information from an apostate website.. i told them i have never attended their kh and had been inactive for more than 20 years and no longer accepted their authority and they no longer had a control over my mind or what i read or say or do.

Question can they disfellowship me in absentia? Like I give a rats ass. I somehow think my kids have something to do with this but they are in CA and I'm in Tx. Paranoia? I don't know.

I agree the muslims are always insulted about something. Which country was it that expelled the Muslims that were not citizens? I thought it was the Netherlands. I say send em all back home let them fight each other til they're all gone.

Absolutely yes! What I do is point out the behaviour or way they are doing something and explain what I expect. When they show improvement I give them commendation in some cases more training if either of these don't work I look at it as the employee fired themself.

it's the what if syndrome maybe, but it's always there.
i still think that as a core belief system the jw's have it right, even if their delivery isn't always right.

Scooby I can really relate to your delemma however ask yourself did you choose your lifestyle or were you born that way? If you chose it you can change if you're born that way you can't so did God create you evil? I don't think so. It took me a lot of years and anguish to wake up. Also remember Pauls letter to the corinthians that you can have the gift of tongues, prophecy, healing, etc but if you do not have LOVE you are nothing so love conquers all

I did a couple of times I went to the castro st. halloween celebration in San Francisco years ago and had a great time, way too many people there though. Once my partner and I went as the jolly green giant green body paint green panty hose, wigs and a lesbian friend made an outfit patterned after they jolly green giant guy on the can of corn. lmao Now i stay home and play it safe GOOD LORD I GUESS I AM GETTING OLD. LOL

Physical attributes in men and women
by greendawn inthey say that in women (physical) looks are the most important factor for attracting a mate whereas for men it is other things eg personality, wealth, status, as if there are a lot more aspects to male existence.

so how would you choose (or did) choose a mate, eg was a woman's physical side of paramount importance or did you also weigh that seriously against character personality, culture, etc.

I believe at first there is a physical attraction and as a relationship is nurtered things grow just like a beautiful garden. As a garden needs to be tendered to be beautiful so does a relationship. If you let yourself go and are not keeping yourself up your mate may lose interest. I am not talking about physical size here as I have seen very beautiful and physically attractive people whose personality was so narcisistic and nasty that they were ugly. I also have seen some quite large folks that have a beautiful smile and a wonderful personality that makes you feel so good to be around so pretty is as pretty does. Just some of my dumb thoughts.

It happened in US a city passed an ordinance banning all door to door activity and the wts took it to the US supreme court and won It was in an Awake article not too long ago I believe it happened in Ohio
