  ok, so i'm a boring person who stays at home on weekends and don't go out much.

  maybe not so much boring but tired, and i'm a 33 year old wife and mom who doesn't need (or want) to be out galavantin' around town on saturday night.

  so...back to the subject in question: i'm probably going to stick to my favorite: crushed ice in a tumbler, a glug of absolut vodka, some cranberry juice, topped off with a splash of orange juice.

  What is the solution?

  most of us seem to be concerned about world problems, from iraq, oil, darfur, katrina victims, mental illness, global warming, starvation, crooked politicians, child abuse, healthcare, racism, prejudice etc etc etc.. we know there are just really people out there that don't care or pay attention to the planet or each other.

  daily things get worse.

  if they are getting better the media fills us with negative negative negative all day long.. i think some here believe things will always be the way they are, its human nature.

  In my humble opinion just being kind to one another accomplishes a lot. a smile, a door held open , a space in line , a random act of kindness, means a lot. A smile and letting people who are stressed deal with it and don't exacerbate it with a smart ass remark or a look of contempt.

  Any of you guys into cooking?

  i have to admit, for many years i hated it.

  before i got married i used to do lots of my own cooking and enjoy artistry of it.

  heck, i'm not saying i was an expert at it but the important thing was i loved it.. but then things hit the fan and for years after, particularly because being on my own now, i would find any and every excuse in the cookbook not to do it lol.

  Love to cook and experiment.

  Get a pork loin wrap it in bacon and put 2 cans of golden mushroom soup over it and bake for 2 hours in a 400 degree oven covered. also put onions all over it and serve with egg noodles very good at least we like it

  did anything exciting or alarming ever happen at your hall?

  i remember only funny incidents, like one brother getting up there with his zipper down.

  (i knew alot of brothers after that felt no shame to actually check down there before going up on the podium!

  A couple of noneventful notes a guy who thought every question from the podium was directed at him and he would yell out and disrupt the meeting.

  An elderly sister lost bladder and bowel control once while giving her talk and she left crying never saw her again guess she became an apostate
