Allow me to introduce myself
by RollerDave ini was raised among the witnesses and left in my early 30's due to a mixture of doctrinal disputes and social isolation.
my mother and both of my sisters remain within the organization.
i also have two brothers, one df'd, one who never quite caught the watchtower bug.. my road within the organization was a rocky one that eventually lead to a place where i found myself socially isolated within the congregation as a person simply unfit for fellowship with proper, upright, theocratic people who must cut off all 'worldy' association, suffer the ensueing isolation, and eat humble pie until such a time as they determined i was 'spiritual minded' enough for them to associate with.. baptism was held up as my expected goal, but despite trying, i was never quite good enough for them.

Well I am fine for now feel like I've been kicked by a Missouri Mule LOL.
I had a blood clot in my coronary artery, I couldn't breathe and my o2 sats were about 72% should be about 96%
Dr. said I had severe cardiac failure. Now taking a diruetic called Lasix as well as 6 other meds at a cost of about 400.00 a month. None covered by insurance. I can afford it for now but am applying for prescription coverage. The hospital bill is enough to give you another coronary. about 45,000 dollars for it all.
I am still looking forward to the apostafest and getting back into my regular routine.
Thanks to all

Got up early and getting ready for work. Couldn't breathe and lots of chest pain. Had Jake take me to ER. collapsed there and my god what a mess. I had massive cardiac failure according to the doc. I got epeniherine, defibrillated and finally a shunt in my heart. According to the doc almost checked out. Fine now lots of meds.. That was Monday at 7:00 am I am now home and doing ok will be back to work monday.
I have quit smoking it is a bear but I will Jake is trying too.
SO QUIT SMOKING YALL. The meds are very high Plavix is 144.00 a month and with all that I take now about 250.00 a month, but still less than the cigs.

Did it ever occur you were defiling your body too?
by NotaNess in"no smoking".... it defiles your body and goes against scripture.. so as a witness, when pushing this train of thought, did it ever occur to anyone that when ever you dug in to those fried eggs, bacon cheeseburgers, and gallons of icecream, you were doing the same exact thing?.
smoking over a long period of time can kill you.
eating artery congesting foods over a long period of time can kill you.
