A Jw came into the shop the other day and left an Awake. I told Him I am an Apostate and I thought he was going to have a heart attack. LOL.
Has anyone else had this experience?
My first time.

i wanted to know everyones opinion on him losing his show and his comments.. first of all i do think his comments warrant the cancellation of his show, but it should have never got that far.
when you are talking with family it should never leave the house.
it should stay behind closed doors.
Can't seem to get in
do you take comments made about your topics or posts seriously or to heart?
do you get upset if people disagree or patronise you?
I have no objection if someone disagrees with me as maybe I may have misunderstood something or stated it in a way I didn"t mean.
I also get a kick out of some who get so outraged over some bigoted attitude they have kept and the majority are smart and live and let live kind of folks, and then lambaste them so I get a good belly laugh out of it.
I have disagreed with some on this board in the past as all of us here don't agree with every single post or comment on this board.
It is good to have debate and disagree without being disagreeable.

jake and i applied for a really nice apartment near white rock lake in dallas.. for those of you who don't know what that is it is for people 55 and older in good health and don't need assistance with activities of daily living.. found out we don't qualify as it is subsidized by the gov't for those on sec 8 or social security.. we make too much money.
i replied you've got to be kidding.
can't afford a house and 1500.00 a month for an apartment is too much.
Jeff seriously considering relocating some where as retirement for Jake is only 1 yr away and 1 salary and ss doesn't cover the bills so I guess he will just have to keep working.
He will be 62 in 08 and wrenching on cars is taking a toll on him expecially after 40 years of doing it.
So I am just trying to prepare for the future so we can maintain our current standard of living.

please join in sending your prayers, good thoughts, reiki, healing vibes, lighting a candle or just taking a moment to think of all those named and unnamed who are fighting cancer or in any other need.

he received an allogeneic cell transplant and his latest blood and bone marrow results have shown no trace of cancer!!
Peace and prayers for all

790.00 for the present place with no washer and dryer is too steep.
So now I have an apartment locator helping us
Any out there with similar housing situations?
virtually everybody above the rank of elder is/was a pioneer.. you can't become a c.o.
without pioneering.. bethelites (even sisters who marry in) were pioneers.. the administration is full of pioneers that worked their way up.. missionaries and senior overseers at all branches were.
pioneers.
Cash income is almost impossible to get taxed on.
A style of living that is above reported income is the only way the IRS can nail you. But when you live in a 26' trailer and all your food is provided and you vehicle and the associated repairs to much to follow as very little paper work.
Therefore you appear below the poverty level and no problem.
Question though what happens when you are to old to do the job? No living centers for the old DO's and CO's that I am aware of.
At least the catholics have homes for the old reprobates.
