For me the best years were in the 60's and early to mid 70's and at least for me in the bay area of CA. it got too clicky after that and organizationally political

What were the best Watchtower years?
by JH induring what period of time did they have some credibility and were they most active and making the most money?.
around here, when i joined back in 1987, there were so many pioneers in the congregation and they were in the field service morning, afternoon and evening.
that lasted about 5 years, then it was a quick and steady decline in field service and a decline in building new halls.

Does anyone miss the food?
by megsmomma ini am talking about when there would be a get together and everyone would bring lots of food?!?
i guess being a glutton is not as bad as being a drinker, or fornicator...ect!
i remember going to a get together after leaving the cult....and i brought a huge vat of homemade potatoe- salad....and that was about all there was to eat!

Yes I miss that When I was a teenager back in the 60's we had lots of them and then in the 70's for some reason the body of elders frowned on them saying that there were too many people coming and recommended small gatherings of no more than 2 or 3 families.
Are there any apostafests near Dallas?

by hambeak ini thought with jakes help i might start something different.
since he is a master tech with 33 years experience, and ford and toyota factory trained maybe you might have some questions about your car and i could give you some good advice to save you some money.. i usually charge $80.00 for a diagnostic at my shop, so get on board and save some money sorry for the brits but i think your cars are somewhat different as far as emission controls are but mechanically the same so let the questions begin..

mama1119 You need a new seat belt assembly for that there is no way to fix it unfortunately that is a weak point on Fords. It is easy to replace Just order one from the dealer and pull the seat out and unbolt the old one and install the new

Descender GO GET ANOTHER OPINION AND DON"T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The reason I say this to replace an intake valve the labor alone is almost a 1000.00 dollars. Also a true diagnostic will address all problems with your car as far as when a qualified tech checks it out ie: drive belts? give me a break that is very easy to detect just look at them and if there are cracks in them or splits change them. Keep in mind a drive belt is good for about 3 to 4 years.

MJ On the tribute push down the parking brake lever all the way sometimes if it is up just a tad the light will come on, also make sure there isn't any thing under the lever assy. If you have done all this and the light is still on it sounds like a short so have a qualified mechanic check it out to make sure your parking brake is not dragging

Jeff t I believe your isuzu has a belt not a chain if it is a belt there is a 90% chance your engine is toast. Most Isuzus as most asian cars are belt driven with what is called an interference motor Dodge and Plymouth neons are also this way as is the chevy aveo as this is not a chevy at all but Daihatsu built in Korea

free2bemee yes there are a few things to improve mileage make sure you have it tuned up regularly with the correct spark plug. If a Japanese or American don't use Bosch as these plugs burn too hot and can damage your ignition coil and ignition coil modulator.
Also I drive a 2001 Ford explolrer xls with a 4.0 I change the air filter with every oil change and I get about 20 mpg around town and almost 30mpg hiway
