current 'light' on voting
by beezknees indon't know if any of u guys can help me out, i could swear i read somewhere that voting is a matter of consciense now, only i was having a disscussion with bro in law who says i am wrong, i'm sure i read it in the watchtower...or did i dream it??
if anyone knows what the current standing is or if there is a watchtower on it would be grateful to know ...thanks x

i used to count the tiles on the ceiling hall, and then watch the second hand on the clock going round thinking it only had to go round 60 times and the watchtower would be over...

Never throw away those Watchtowers and Awakes!

you must let them build up and up and up, until you need to store them in boxes that will be places in corners of the attic or basement.
when you find them years later, still do not throw them away or you will die at armageddon!

keep all of those magazines then u can have them as a reference when wbts change their minds again or change the information on the cd rom to differ to the original published article

'present truth replaces past truth ,however present truth may be replaced by future truth'.

surely the wbts fails to have a clear understanding of the english language let alone any other deeper matters, i can't beleive how readily jw's myself for 30yrs included just accepted bizarre statements such as this as making sense??? I feel they are seriously guilty of missuse of the word truth.. but then again if its not the truth it must be a Lie and who do the teach us is the father of the lie....???

How Did Things Change After You Were Baptised?

how were you treated before, as compared to after?

can't really remember i think i was 12 yrs old!! and so capable of understanding what i was getting in to ?? I do know though that since i have been inactive when i did on occasion try to go back to the ahll i was virtually ignored by 80% of the hall, i even was in a queue in the supermarket behind an elder who totaly ignored me then pretended he hadn't seen me?? brotherly love at its best
