UK & IRELAND MAP
by ballistic ini had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).
(and australia but you are all in the same backyard anyway - literally!!!).
anyway, all you have to do is post or email me your username and town and i will draw you on the map above which will change gradually to include everyone!.

ELDERS BREAK UP GROUP OF SISTERS - WHY?
by juni ina friend told me tonight that the elders broke up a group of sisters who were all experiencing various degrees of depression and enjoyed the upbuilding association with each other.. why would they do this?
according to them for two reasons:.
because this looks bad to the cong.

why do the elders break up a group of sisters?.. because they can, jw's have given the power of their own mind over to others, no men can actually make you do anything,only if we choose to let them do it. When you are in the organization you are so used to being told what to do and think that you will go along with anything

current 'light' on voting
by beezknees indon't know if any of u guys can help me out, i could swear i read somewhere that voting is a matter of consciense now, only i was having a disscussion with bro in law who says i am wrong, i'm sure i read it in the watchtower...or did i dream it??
if anyone knows what the current standing is or if there is a watchtower on it would be grateful to know ...thanks x

JW's ruin my dinner.
by moshe ini took my family to red lobster tonight and shortly after we were seated ( it was about 5 pm- early) a large party came in and took up two tables next to us.
one young woman had a very loud laugh and because of that i kept looking at their table.
then i noticed a young black couple with a toddler- then i noticed all the men had suits and ties- then i noticed three single men were sitting together and three single women next to them- and finally one young couple that i decided were married.

i think its understandable people are angry about the organization, but i don't think this should be directed to jw's who have been just as decieved as any of us, at least we know the 'truth' now, to go up to them and start to tell them how wrong they are will just vindicate their beliefs in their eyes and entrench them furthur into the fact they are in the true religion. I think you have to get to the stage of questioning yourself, my sister went 'apostate' 11 years ago and i have only recently come to my own realization about the religion, any attempt for someone to tell me i was wrong would have just put my guard up, i think you have to arrive there yourself, i feel sad for my ex friends that are still there and would not want to pull them down as they are doing what they believe is right and will just see it as an attack on thier faith ..most of us gave our minds up at one time to the organization, anger should be directed to the organisation not individuals

i used to count the tiles on the ceiling hall, and then watch the second hand on the clock going round thinking it only had to go round 60 times and the watchtower would be over...

Never throw away those Watchtowers and Awakes!
by free2beme init is a sin to throw away your watchtowers and awakes.
you must let them build up and up and up, until you need to store them in boxes that will be places in corners of the attic or basement.
when you find them years later, still do not throw them away or you will die at armageddon!

Spring Fever
by JH inthe weather is so nice today.
