i don't know what wether the watchtower is going to implode or the begining of ww3 is about to happen.

something big !.

but something makes me feel weird, not afraid but ready for it.. maybe it is the psyco in me..

the megamillions in new jersey (where i work) and other states is up to u.s.$260,000,000.

got my ticket, my hopes and my dream.

i can't remember the reason why as a jw i was told it was wrong to participate in the lottery, bingo and other such games.

The Good news is now I better know the reason the WTBS doesn't like it.Thank you all for helping me understand the reasoning. Don't waste your dollar on the lottery give it to us instead and we'll waste it for you.

After yesterday's Stock Market tumble I would say that is a gamble too !

The bad news: I DIDN'T WIN !!

ok, this clip was 30 min long, so i had to edit and cut out stuff.

we set it up on the tripod, and left for about 15-20 min.

then went down and talked to the orbs/dust/glitch/bugs.......(oh and infrared waves).

I can't remember the reason why as a JW I was told it was wrong to participate in the lottery, bingo and other such games. Does any one know the answer ?

If I won, do you think I would be re-instated in the hopes I would share all that money with the dubs? As the WTBS is strapped for money, I might be asked for a donation for all those times I forgot to leave something in the KH boxes.

Never lied but I was taught to be creative. The time at the coffee shop while out on ministry counted. Why? Because we would place a magazine at the table we were sitting at.

Any passerby that observed our literature could aproach us, but none ever did. Still, they were "preached" to.

had someone from pc world install mynew computer.. he had story to tell about jws.. .

when he was about 13,he attended re classes at his local school,they were told in class about bible contradications,next day some jws called and they looked at bible verses.. when he asked them`this is the word of the lord,he pointed out contradications on either the next page or two pages up.. he didn't see them again!.

Must be nice to use internet at home. My connection at home is "dial up" which is very slow, so I use the internet at work.

A life beyond ...

i now have a life beyond jehovah's witnesses.

i am able to impact kids in their development into young adults who have risen above challenging circumstances.

these children are always impoverished but may be challenged in other ways, as well.. my job is to mold them into productive citizens, contributing adults.

Got proposed to today

a very nice lady and very pretty who has been coming in for a few weeks now, is starting to become a fatal attraction.. she comes in for the most idiotic requests and has asked me out numerous times.

i keep giving her some excuse for not going out.. i can't tell her i am gay as that can destroy everything at work here.. any ideas?

i don't want to hurt her feelings or stop her from spending her money here as well as sending her friends and neighbors.

Just thought of something else !

In conversation with her you can perhaps let slip a comment like " Oh, my life partner is interested in getting a car just like yours. How do you like it."

You would just be making a coment and hopefully she will get the hint.

Newbie!!!

been away from the truth for nearly a year now and have just got my divorce from my violent ex who is stil serving in the congregation.

found things hard and still am, as the 'truth' is all i've ever known....so am on here for some well needed support, if thats ok?
