  Is the U.N. preparing to attack Religion

  about 5 minutes ago i get an article emailed to me from my mother telling me that i need to find a way to get back to jehovah and his saving arm... she read an article in a reputable newspaper that all the friends are using to show that its not just jehovahs witnesses who see religion about to get attacked by the u.n.. it concludes with a link to the article and her desire for me to please read it in light of my recent situation.. .

  If, as the UN says, religions and belief systems are not protected by human rights - and I agree, they clearly are not – what prevents them from taking the next step: deciding that religions and belief systems are nothing more than ancient superstitions that are doing more harm than good, and that it’s time to ban them?

  DD, so you drew the alien heads over the clouds? I could draw a dozen other different things. I DO think there's some bizzare stuff in some of the illustrations (the sign of bamophet for example) that seem more difficult to explain away. But I think the clouds may be stretching it. But yes, I tend to agree that the judeo xtian "god" is pretty awful, and I can totally get behind the idea that the "satan" boogieman is nothing but a bad rap lol. There's parallels in the Enlil and Enki story as well.   Yes he really held it up and said "how would you describe a bannana to someone who is not familiar with it? Would you say its yellow, sweet, and mushy on the inside? That woulnt be enough. You would actually have to experience the bananna!" Not Joking!
