I had a dream that I was about to give the Sunday public talk last night. I thought it was weird that the PO didn't mind my beard and earrings. It was one of those half awake dreams where I had to remind myself that it wasn't real. Crazy.

my first pledge of allegiance
by BlackSwan of Memphis intoday was parent day at jun's preschool.. and they do the pledge of allegiance.. it was funny because i was stumbling through it trying to remember it.. in all honesty, it wasn't a moment where i thought oh yay!
it was more like, eh, whatever, it's a flag.. .

I was at a PTA meeting last month, and my son's class sang the Star Spangled Banner. I could not imagine making him sit out from the rest of the class. I had to, but it's funny I still know all of the words. =-)

I was born and raised. Then I decided to stop believing in fairy tales. Once upon a time and happily ever after. Well it's actually more than that, but now that I think about it... talking snakes (and a talking Donkey =-) ). And they think it's ridiculous for our kids to believe in Santa or the tooth fairy? Or the easter bunny... Here comes Jesus... Hide the eggs. All in good fun.
