  Hello RaceBannon!! I was never a jw, but made the mistake of getting engaged to one.

  When his family found out he had a worldly girlfriend, he was called to meet with the elders, and was disfellowshiped.

  I could Never understand why he would let these fools not only judge him, but to judge our relationship as well. It led to alot of problems and me with the feeling that he thought that we were something to be ashamed of.

  If I were you I would never do that to her, or to yourself. You should never have the feeling of having to answer for choosing to lead your life the way you wish!!!!

  i know this is slightly off-topic but i find alot of the discussion here somewhat depressing and most of it is far too cerebral for me.

  i (obviously) live in america and i'm a big fan of beer.

  light, dark, lager, ale, whatever.

  Im from the midwest too, only the good part, Chicago! And I bartend as well, so I know my brews. We have an excellent ale thats brewed only about 2 miles from dowmtown, its called Goose Island Honkers Ale. Its one of my favs and shouldnt be that hard to get. Oh also if you like that try goose 312 as well. Cheers!!

  my sons wonderfull heart

  so last night i was crying in my room so bad that my 5 year old heard me, even though i was trying to be quiet.

  he then started looking around the house for something shaped like a heart.

  he found a little heart shaped pendant and started rubbing it on his chest, then he started rubbing it on mine.

  So last night I was crying in my room so bad that my 5 year old heard me, even though I was trying to be quiet. He then started looking around the house for something shaped like a heart. He found a little heart shaped pendant and started rubbing it on his chest, then he started rubbing it on mine. When I asked him what he was doing, he said "im giving you my heart momma, cuz I dont want yours to hurt anymore. I think that nobody likes heart burn"

  How lucky am I !? We might have been left by some jehovah lovin fool but Im the one who gets to stay and take in my wonderful boys. Now my five year old isnt his, but my four month is. And maybe it is good that he left while he was so young, so he wont remember any of this nonsence. I just think that hes gonna make the love for my boys all the more sweeter, and the love for the next REAL man I get all the more cherished.

  I really am starting to think that hes doing me more good than harm by walking out!!!!!!!!!

  Stepdaughter wants B-Day

  so yesterday my two soon to be stepkids boy12,girl 9, came over for a visit with their dad.

  their mom is a dub, her dad is an elder, my man is d'fd.

  anyway, i was just sitting in my room feeding the baby when girl comes in and asks if im gonna start throwing her birthday parties.
