  CO is chasing me . Meeting him tomorrow.

  this week is the "special week", co is back.. he phone called me this morning asking to meet together.. i replied "i don't refuse people who want talking to me, but my condition is that you must be alone, and we meet in public space.".

  he agreed and we will meet tomorrow in a cafe.. .

  this week he already met with my wife in the kh, and he told her "i believe your housband is apostate !!

  He phone called me this morning asking to meet together.

  I replied "I don't refuse people who want talking to me, but my condition is that you must be alone, and we meet in public space."
  He agreed and we will meet tomorrow in a cafe.
  
  This week he already met with my wife in the KH, and he told her "I believe your housband is APOSTATE !!" (LOL , toke one year and 3 visits for him to realize this .)
  During last visit CO tried to push my wife witnessing against me, because I chat and meet regularly with a neighbor guy disfelloshipped. His gol was to have my self disfellowshipped too.

  I would meet this man out from his role, alone, without bag and bible and ties probably, and will be very rude in telling him what I think.
  
  Any suggestion ?

  I've also wondered about the italian letterhead and wondered what is up for that. I know for a fact that there are many capable translators at Via della Bufalotta and around

  I heard many have kicked out from Bethel in Rome. So probably there were many capable translators there ...

  Maybe it's also worth to mention that this BOE delivered to local italian congregations is in english.

  No more human resource in Via della Bufalotta, to translate into italian ?
  Or enlgish BOE letters are normal these days in Italy ?

  i've been pondering......with this new "push" to direct individuals to thw jw.org website, even when the dubs are out preaching...what do you think the future will be for the preaching work?.

  some time ago i read that the mormons have implemented a live chat feature that allows you to speak with their missionaries....i doubt the borg would do this, but i think they have something up their sleeves.. peace.

  it seems like lots of people have big dreams of 'destroying the watchtower'.

  it's usually linked to a story of how they were wronged and want some revenge.

  do these 'in your face' attempts to convince people that the truth isn't the truth really have an effect?.

  Sites like JWN are unpayable added value.
  JWN provides a frame of solid argumentations, link to material with scholars’s cut , also some personal experiences.
  When I was a JW in good standing, all the theology and pragmatism of WTS made a lot of sense to me. It was because I was raised in that cult , and never learned critical thinking or cross-examinations. Even though I had a+ccumulated many small bugs over the years.
  When I had opportunity to weight every WTS topic with the counter-argument, everything suddendly looked so clear , and I made my choice. A difficult one.
  
  I can say if Internet were in around in mid 80s , and so JWN and similar would have started 10 years earlier, then I’d have spared a decade in my lifetime.
  
  Back to your question, you cannot "convince" any JWs with video and studies ...True.
  But how many would still inside without any supply , like JWN ?

  Wife and kids are officially OUT!!

  my wife has told her jw best friend and jw sister that she is givng up the religion!!

  and there was i worrying about losing her when i left the cult.

  and, to top it all, my 15 and 13 year old children are using their critical thinking skills and can see it all for what it is.

  Italian version of article translates "readily" with "prontamente" , which is "promptly" or "istantly" . That's why I consider it a lie.
  

  I think "readly" in english may offer a variety of meanings (eg: "easly") which make statement ambiguos, and not totally false.

  an average of five kingdom halls being constructed daily, almost 8 million brothers and sisters, dissemination of bible literature in 595 languages, 111,795 congregations worldwide, distribution of 179 million bibles available in 116 languages, 239 countries where jehovah's witnesses have a presence, etc.. need i go on?.

  on the other hand........... crisis of conscience, freeminds, the awaa, jw.net, ummmmmm........hmmm........idk six screens or something?
