Two of my friends, who live miles apart, have brought things to the elders attention. Both were promised information on the things that were brought forth, and to date, neither one of them has had any resolution from the elders. They have nothing to come back with, so they simply don't come back.

by sinis inwell, my wife called him the other day to see if he had gotten our e-mails (never got back to us).
well i never told my wife i sent him the un ngo letter.
i guess he made comments to her that i'm an apostate and that he didn't want to tell me.

In respect to headcovering, can you get away with a sheet of toilet paper??
by Gill inwhose idea was it anywhere and is there any mention of it in any awake or bodgetower?.
the idea, that women when taking the lead in anyway or praying should have something on their head as a sign of respect suddenly struck me as a sign of total disrespect!.
i understand a woman may put anything on her head as a sign of respect to her superior male colleagues, including a used kleenex....i've seen it so don't doubt it!!.

Is abortion an unforgivable sin?

please ban you tell me if an unbaptized publisher has an abortion is this an unforgivable sin?.
what would happen to the publisher if another jw reports them or they confess since they are not baptized?.

Welcome. I think its really up to the person and the situation. I myself could not do it. I had an unplanned prenancy in my early twenties and was immediatetly DF. But, she is the best thing that ever happened to me, no matter the consequences. But it is not for everyone, I have known people that simply could not bring a child into the world and raise it at that particular time. I would be less concerned about the elders and more concerned about what is in your heart.

Sometimes Being Pregnant Sucks! (The looking for sympathy thread)
by mama1119 ini am 32 weeks pregnant and it is 3:30 in the morning and i can;t sleep because no matter what position i am in, either my back hurts or my legs go numb.
i have heartburn raging like a wild beast with seven horns upon its head.
my fingers look and feel like sausages, my feet are burning up and two sizes bigger than normal and i still have 8 weeks to go.

Yes, I agree, the bath is nice. I do spend alot of time in the bath. My husband alsways asks "why are you taking another bath, didn;t you just get out of the bath?" It does make me feel better. Maybe I will head there now..ohhh, he would just LOVE that in the middle of the night.

Wow, Geronimo is really upset. What a lucky woman his girlfriend is, he is a charming fellow.
In my opinion, since we have "smaller brains" I think we are very selective with what we fill it up with. Men think they have all this space to fill so they load up on a bunch of crap. Then they run out of space for all the smarts they should have stored up on. Then we have to help them along.
But, they are good for some things :)

laundromat witnessing to the witnesses!

You could prety much count on a local needs following any kind of public reproof or DF, so you really din;t h ave to guess what the offfense was...stealing, fornication etc. Then there were those boring ones about listening to elders, gossip, not "fallling away". Just general brow beating.
