Your Opinion Wanted-What should really be done to child molesters?
by avidbiblereader ini have not tried to hide my past as a victim of this, but this is always an area that i have to fight my personally feelings as to what should be done to child molesters.
they ruin lives, scar an individual for a lifetime!.
should they be incarcerated for life, castrated, turned over to the family member(s), public humiliation like a branding everywhere they go, tortured and or death penality?.

If someone ever touched any of my children I would not feel satisfied that justice was served until that person was dead. And not of natural causes. Be it death penalty or at the hands of someone in prison.
And, while I understand that perps are tricky little devils, I would never, ever leave my children alone with a person who gave me the least bit of a feeling that I shouldn't. I do not care if people think I am over protective or suspcious of people. The person that will keep them the safest is me, so if that means I take them everywhere with me, instill a little fear of strangers and check the sex offender register monthly, so be it. But I will do everything in my power to keep it from happening to my kids.

by ninja ini will start....i can speak conversational albanian....thanks to the foreign language field...really useful in everyday life as a cleaner....sniff...why didnt i pick mandarin?
..would be useful when they take over the world....but one day i will find an albanian to talk to ...that or a needle in a haystack....the emmerdalian world of jw's

What's your culinary specialty?
by pmouse inreading hortensia's topic "menu" made my mouth water.
i remember in the 70's (when we used to be able to have lots of jw social get-togethers like picnics and parties) some of the friends would bring pot-luck specialties that were to die for!.
everyone has a dish they consider their "specialty" which gets high praise and generally requests for the recipe.

Fiesty Chicken...you cook chicken for hours in a dutch oven filled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tons of garlic, sweet and hot cherry peppers and chardonnay. Served over crusty french bread.
I make delicious tacos
Lasagna...I think I may make the best lasagna I have ever tasted!
I cannot bake worth anything, so I stick to cooking!

Oh..so many to choose from...
When people bring their small babies out in the cold with out shoes and socks. (mostly WalMart)
When children have to go potty and their stupid parents won't take them so the kid has an accident and the parent gets mad at them (again, WalMart)
When parents drag their kids around shopping all day and then get mad at them when they act up because they are thoroughly exhausted.

she has left the borg, but the rest of her family hasn't.
she was invited over to her moms house last night for dinner and her grandparents were suppossed to be there.

Went to the Scan for Baby
by KW13 inwell, the baby is very secretive because its legs were crossed (15 weeks 5 days approx - due date september 2nd) so we couldn't tell what sex it was, if you can tell at this early stage.. anyhow its all there, and appears healthy and although this kind of scan doesn't really tell you much, the signs were good and we were really happy to just know all is well.. it was sucking its thumb, it wriggled a bit and its heart rate was fine.
you could make out a majority of its body parts from its ears to feet, knees and pot belly.. hopefully sometime in the not too distant future i will have obtained a scanner of some kind to be able to get it on the net for you folks to see.. .

just to introduce myself
by alotlikemay init's been a long time since i was in the 'truth' .
took a long long time to rehabilitate and among one of the things i had to do was learn to make friends.
anyway, maybe will make more friends here, time will tell .

I have two small children, so I never swear out loud. But man, if you listen to what I say under my breath, it gets pretty bad. When I first started leaving, before I had kids, I was pretty "wordly" you could say. But then I got pregnant and had to reel it back in. So now, I am pretty sraight and narrow, don't smoke, but I do like a glass of wine or beer to relax, but my limit is always two..I don't like the feeling of being drunk, or buzzed, just relaxed.
