they told him they are "storing and stocking up" on powdered milk and non-perishable items.......this is the second time i hear that witnesses are doing this in preperation of "the end".

I won't see it. I'm one of the people that believes they were taken down by the government to rally support and to enact the Patriot Act. There is just too much evidence that doesn't fit with the official explanation of what supposedly happened on 9/11.

What you are referring to with Onan "wasting his sperm" has nothing to do with masturbation. It was because he didn't want to perform brother-in-law marriage with Tamar and get her pregnant.
Masturbation is said to be unclean.

Scripturally Free to Remarry?
by limbogirl inhad a discussion with a friend of mine yesterday -- she's still semi in the borg.
anyway, she says she's free to remarry as defined by dub rules.
she's divorced, however, there was no cheating by either party in the marriage.

I wonder if there are hard and fast rules.
A girl I know left her husband and was going to divorce him. He was very abusive. Before the divorce was final, she got involved with someone relatively unexpectedly and got involved in a matter that she went to the elders about. She had such an empty marriage and abusive marriage that she fell into it. Anyway, when she went to the elders, they publicly reproved her, but told her that she had to tell her husband what happened and she had to do it before he signed the divorce papers. If he signed the paperwork, he would be "stating" that he didn't forgive her and she would be scripturally free. He didn't realize that. She told him, and later, at the hearing, he signed the divorce papers. Then he talked to his elders and they told him what he had done. He has now been calling her telling her he DOES forgive her and she has to come back to him. But now, she's scripturally free and so is he since they are now divorced. He just wants her back so she can support him...he didn't work a day in the 10 years they were married...lazy, alcoholic, abusive jerk.

Im IMPOTENT a new way to beat the system
by Afrancis ina quick example i would like to share with you guys to show the way the elders are carrying on today.
my father a ministeral servant, had an affair with another woman, and is still with this other woman.
(shes not a jw, but a so called "bible study") he lives with her and when consulted by the elders and asked "are you having pre marital relations woth this woman" his reply is "i cant im impotent!

CELEBRATION time for me... just got my semester grades back...

and for my com class i passed with a 96%.

Anyone else ever gone through feelings such as these?
by WildHorses inlast sunday was the first time i went through this but it has since happened a few more times.
when i woke up last sunday morning, i had this feeling that i was going to die.
i don't know why i felt this way but i couldn't shake the feeling of dread.

Just to clarify, you aren't feeling suicidal. You have feelings that you will die though and it scares you....
St. John's Wort is mild. It promotes a general positive mood but probably won't touch what you are dealing with. I've dealt with severe depression for years and I'm getting better. I've been on several different combinations of medication. See your doctor and be prepared, this might be something that you wrestle with for awhile. Is it possible you are going through some of the symptoms of menopause? You seem too young for that though....

Was you ever an attendent or had an attendent in the family?

here is a guy... always a guy who is in charge of a section of seating.
his job is to get up every so often and count people.

Once I was able to be an attendant, it felt good to be "used". But I never viewed it as me being better than anyone. However, a lot of the guys I served with did.
