  Is this a BEAUTIFUL STORY--or what?

  is this a beautiful story, or what?.

  act one________.

  now in an ordinary romance of the golden hollywood era, the boy goes off to war while the young lady waits nervously for his safe return.in a cary grant, debra kerr movie, the two vow to meet after a certain period of time and tragic circumstances intervene.. in my story, the young man is a conscientious objector who goes to prison instead of off to the vietnam war.

  Evolution and Creation—both are stories!

  there are number of nobel laureates and other great scientists in both the camps defending their respective theories of evolution and creation, which means both are just stories, and both suffer from having no eye-witnesses.

  if either of them were true, all scientists would have accepted it unanimously as they do with rest of the laws such as law of gravity..

  this does not mean that there is no god.

  hello i am john a student of naperville north high school.

  in a comparative religion project we have to research a branch of christianity mine being jehovah's witness and do an interview so this is out to all jehovah's witnesses or former jehovah's witnesses.. what do you enjoy about being jehovah's witness and what do you enjoy the least?.

  "What do you enjoy about being Jehovah's Witness and what do you enjoy least?"

  I will answer the second part. For all intents and purposes I was born into the religion. It was all I knew. In 1974 I pioneered in the small town that I lived in before going to 'serve' at Bethel. I tried to contact as many of my ex- schoolmates as I could to warn them about the coming war of Armageddon and placed Truth books with them and witnessed to some of my ex-teachers. One fellow took the Truth book from me and said I believe you Sparky1 and thanks for coming to see me and warning me. When I walked into my shop this morning at 8:00 am he was standing at the counter. I HATE THAT THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY MADE A FOOL AND AN ASS OUT OF ME! It has been over 40 years and still no Armageddon.

  If you are talking about the disfellowshipping policy ,here is an interesting tidbit from the Bible. The only record of a so-called disfellowshipping is found in 1st Corinthians and it involves a man that committed fornication with his step mother. The only record of a so-called reinstatement is found in 2nd Corinthians and it involves the same man spoken of in 1st Corinthians. Both books were written in 55 C.E. and so the man was disfellowshipped for less than a year, possibly only a few months for the sin of fornication or adultery depending on your viewpoint. You will find very few examples in the modern day Jehovah's Witness religion of anyone disfellowshipped for sexual sins being reinstated in such a short period of time. If anything, Jehovah's Witnesses policy of disfellowshipping is unscriptual in its harshness.

  Silent And Sweet Rebellion Going On Within JW Organization!

  after 1975, the vast majority remained as though nothing has happened.

  but some left the organization.

  however, there arose a third category who did not leave the organization, but brought a new view into their heart: jws are right in their core cause (gods kingdom as the solution to mankinds problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area..

  You must lead a very sheltered life. I knew a long time Elder that frequently referred to his sons as Shit-birds and I heard the word shit at Bethel more times that I could count! And I have it on good authority that Nathan Knorr had a VERY salty tongue behind closed doors.
