He (Franz) did not use notes.
I wonder what he is looking at on his lectern? Statements like this perpetuate the man and his myth.
back in my teen years this story swept through jw land, that according to, the guinness book of records , freddy franz, was listed as one of the seven, most intelligent , men in the world.
dose anyone else remember this?
i remember trying to look it up, but never found anything in print, and ii point that out once or twice , and was told a co, had told about it, and he wouldn't lie!

Never once did I see NHK refer to his notes.
Just because you didn't see him doesn't mean that he didn't.

Fred Franz was a VERY SMART man!
1. He never had to work at a real, secular job and compete in the job market to support himself.
2. He never had to pay an insurance bill, an electrical bill, a car payment or any other adult responsibilities.
3. He never went to bed hungry or cold since his religious followers paid for his food and shelter.
4. He never had to worry about paying for dental or medical care.
5. He got to travel the world on the publishers dime.
6. He cultivated an aura of mystery and spirituality that guaranteed no one would disagree with him.
7. He didn't have to pay a secular publishing house to print his idiotic ideas nor get turned down by one of them.
8. He got the personal satisfaction and ego boost of telling people how to live their lives without any censure.
9. He spoke before crowds of people, most of whom hung on his every word with awe and adoration.
Yes Frederick William Franz was a VERY,VERY,VERY SMART man. He got all of his physical and ego needs met on the backs of the common 'publisher' through their monetary contributions to the Jehovah's Witness religion. Was he intelligent? I haven't a clue. I never spoke with him while I was at Bethel.
so as some are probably aware the january study edition has two articles on the anointed.
one basically discouraging people from believing they are anointed and another about how ones should view partakers.
this photo is from the second article:.
okay, so at the "imitate their faith" ca there was a special speaker from the gb.
and he started discussing psalms 1:1 and how we today could "sit in the seat of scoffers".
he then mentioned that many bros. and sisters criticize the org and think they are so smart by researching online.
If anyone from the Governing Body(tm) is trolling here today, I have a message for you:
i mean this with all due respect, i would like to hear from genuine people who think jw have it wrong and then what is the truth?.
im not talking about silly little quibbles here and there.. is jehovah real?
the the bible is word?
Stay with your lack of belief-I won't try to change you. Nevertheless, intransigence hinders so very much of ones potential.
RELIGION- 1. Boundless conceit concealed as utmost modesty. 2. Justification for regulating one's behavior and coercing others to regulate theirs. 3. An inexhaustible mine of meaning for the mentally lazy. - Thomas Szasz

I just got this off from my Fidelity account page:

i did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.
i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.
so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.
I am so very sorry for your loss. My pet of choice has always been a cat. After you mourn your beloved companion, perhaps you can take Ruth Gordon's advice to Harold in the movie HAROLD and MAUDE: "Go and love some more." Lots of kitties out there that need a good home and someone to love!
