  i was one year out of high school and attending the assembly in dallas, texas when i heard the buzz about this new half-hour move--an actual movie the watchtower had produced called "heritage.

  "so, all of us teens (i was 19) sat in the vast audience and the lights went down and the screen flickered as our hearts beat a little faster in anticipation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiiu0tm_dym___________i don't think our reaction (those of us young jw's) was quite what the propaganda master minds in ny had in mind!we were embarrassed at how awful this film was.it was beyond being a 1950's style b-grade teen rebellion film.

  this piece of crap reflected badly on the very idea the supreme being was directing it!

  so we have this ridiculous teaching of an overlapping generation, something the bible clearly does not teach.

  but it's interesting that at the start of matthew we go through the genealogy of jesus.

  i came across a link on the bbc site this morning to an article in scientific american on gut health claiming that one reason we need to keep our guts healthy with probiotics, a good diet and reducing antibiotics is because there are neurons in our gut that are part of the process to create dopamine and serotonin for the brain.

  yes happy hormones and neurotransmitters!

  amazing article.. 'the enteric nervous system is often referred to as our body’s second brain.

  What sort of sick, twisted and perverted minds would allow such a picture to be printed in one of their religious 'teaching' publications? A little girl, her dog and her doll being destroyed for something she has no comprehension of? Oh, that's right, Fred Franz, the virgin who never would know what it was like to make love to a woman or cradle his own offspring in his arms and Nathan Knorr, the cold fish, who had no children of his own and (I believe) only one nephew (Joel Mock) whom he never spent any time with.

  When I had my 'shepherding call' just before the Memorial, the two Elders calling on me told me this. All sales of Kingdom Halls and all construction is halted until further notice. One Elder was very surprised because the old hall that I used to attend had a cash offer and the Elders were told by Brooklyn DO NOT SELL at this time.

  actually its quite amusing to observe the different reactions from within the org every time theres new light.how dumb does a person have to be to not realize its all a conjob.surely a thinking logical person would question all the changes over the years.lts almost like the blind leading the blind scenario.

  the wife and i went to the memorial strictly out of respect for my mother-in-law last night.

  luckily our 20 month-old grand-baby was restless and making noise, so i quickly volunteered to take him in the back.

  so i didn't have to listen to the presentation.
