OUTLAW................I think we had the same mother.
( My first Ministry School Bible reading was Isaiah 44:1-20 when I was 6 or 7 years old around 1961-62)
i perfectly remember that, rehearsing with mom, trying to read with enough emphasis and in a proper tone.
i was 5 years old, back then in 1996 i think, and the portion was james 5:1-13.... i found today that i still know the first verses by heart!!!
it's actually a cherished memory for me, i came to memorize those because mom had me starting the reading all over again until i got to read it properly... and in time!!!

Welcome.........by joining this forum you have opened the door to a life of intellectual freedom.
the kingdom of god is already begun, which is pointed out in prophecy as due to begin the exercise of power in a.d. 1878, and that the "battle of the great day of god almighty" which will end in 1914 with the complete overthrow of the earth's present rulership, is already commenced.. i just did the math....and russell was right.
christ returned invisibly in 1874 and took rulership (restored kingdom reign) in 1878.. 2520 years minus 607 when jerusalem was destroyed = 1913 (accounting for no year zero) = 1914. that`s 2520 - 607 = 2014. but wait, that`s 2520 prophetic years of 360 days, not solar days of 365.25 days.
to convert to solar days then one must multuiply 2520 x 365.25 which gives us 2,484 actual years.
"You can bet your ass that A.D.1878 is the year that Christ will begin his heavenly rule. These are God's dates and not my own. I couldn't change them if I wanted to." - C.T. Russell 'That faithful and wise servant'
i am a male, born into the jw cult(ure), baptized as a teen, now mid fifties.
most of my life i dreamed of hugging pandas and lions, punctuated at times by nightmares of armageddon or jw drama and politics.

I'm ready for Saturday morning field service, brothers. Who wants to be in my limousine, I mean car group?
if one sent a nice note to the gb, "you guys are a bunch of low life scumbags", would they cover.
it in their meeting and respond to my letter?.
If you really wanted to do this, you would need to have some kind of 'apostate' connection inside Bethel. If my memory serves me correctly, you could write a letter to each individual member of the Governing Body (tm) and then have your 'apostate' connection send these letters through the internal Bethel mail system. They would each get their respective letters during the morning 'mail delivery'.
they said we are all the same in god’s eyes.
that everyone is equal.
to prove this they call everyone “brother and sister.” sadly, this really isn’t the case.
anyhow i got to thinking today about my days in the borg and the resolutions that would intermittently be made in the announcements for co visit expenses, sending a donation to society www fund etc.
my point is that while i was in (almost thirty two years) i never once saw anyone put up their hand to vote against a resolution that the body of elders proposed.
on a couple of occasions i heard a few hushed murmurs but i never saw one person vote against.
The Jehovah's Witnesses RUBBER STAMP everything. That way they can claim to 'all speak in agreement'!
