  Mark Sanderson wears an Apple Watch at regional convention

  last weekend was regional convention and mark sanderson was the bethel speaker for the last talks every day.

  his talks were video streamed from zurich to other cities in switzerland, austria and germany.

  one interesting point was that he wore an apple watch, stainless steel edition (link).

  All the current members of the Governing Body (tm) have the following:

  Nice apartments paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  Three nutritious meals a day paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  Free medical care paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  Free transportation (automobiles for their use) paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  Free trips anywhere on the planet (ostensibly to conduct GB business) paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  Free laundry and housekeeping services paid for by the rank and file Witnesses.

  No matter how he obtained the Apple watch, in my opinion, it is not necessary for him to have the watch for conducting Governing Body business. His tablet and smartphone can do more than that watch can and it is just 'window dressing'. If it was a gift, he could have donated it to the 'Worldwide Work'. After all, Caleb and Sophia don't have an Apple watch but are required to 'give up' their ice cream money to support the over bloated bureaucracy known as 'Jehovah's Earthly Organization'. If my opinion is viewed as being 'petty' than so be it. Remember, Jesus himself said, 'he that is faithful in little is faithful in much, he that is unfaithful in little is unfaithful in much.'

  Here's a tip looter. Learn to collect and solidify your thoughts before you put them to paper. Then present your ideas in the most succinct manner possible. Your overuse of language only detracts from the ideas you are trying to convey. Strunk's book is a classic and I highly recommend that you read it.

  spoke with a fellow apostate from my own area.

  she and i bailed out about the same time and kept in touch.. she used to do secular work with one of the local elders in his cleaning business until she got dfed.

  this same elder was one of the more profound dickheads on my reinstatement committee, before i turned around two years later and daed.. business required her to contact the elder on behalf of an old client.

  When I still associated 20 years ago (because of family and friends) I faithfully donated between $1,200.00 and $2,400.00 a year (don't ask me why....residual guilt, I think). Half to the local congregation and half to the Worldwide Work. If only 10,000 disgruntled Witnesses stopped donating the minimum of what I did, it would total $12,000,000.00 a year less in their greedy hands.   Why are anniversaries allowed but not birthdays?

  the scripture quotes aside, i was always told that we don't celebrate birthdays because that is a celebration of the self, which has no place in jehovah's organization.

  then why celebrate anniversaries?

  anniversary celebrations are about the joining of two selves, isn't that twice as selfish?.

  It would be interesting to know how many people he voted to disfellowship while he was an Elder. The sick pig..........judging other people for banishment from the congregation while he was involved in the MOST HEINOUS crime of all. There are not enough adjectives to describe this type of human being. Appointed by Holy Spirit my ASS!
