Just remember, in WATCHTOWERLAND, the individual is always to blame. You either lacked faith, ran ahead of the organization, didn't trust in Jehovah enough, had selfish intentions, were blinded by Satan, had unclean 'private sins' , didn't pray hard and long enough, didn't go out in service enough, didn't answer at the meeting enough, grieved Jehovah's Holy Spirit, weren't reaching out enough, were not keeping up with Jehovah's progressive chariot, read your own personal interpretations into prophecy, didn't respect the authority of the Elders, didn't 'wait of Jehovah' and the list goes on and on and on! Jehovah, Jesus Christ, the invisible angels and his corporate representatives, the GOVERNING BODY OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES (tm) never take responsibility for anything......................but you must love Jehovah in spite of the evidence!

by Chook inabout 5 years ago when i was in, my son who at the time was 18 needed somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights due to work commitments ,in a city 2 hours from home.
my "best man" who is an elder that lives in this city , was asked could my son stay a couple of nights .
the response was he doesn't go to meetings anymore ,he can't stay here , i ask can he sleep on garage floor instead , still can't stay .

As you know, Jehovah's Witnesses do not practice the 'Love of the Christ', but are mired in legalistic, paternalist practices that were forced on Christians by the Apostle Paul and his myopic interpretation of Christian doctrine. It is a sad commentary on the human condition and religion in general, when a human being chooses by reason of his practicing a certain religious dogma, to treat another human being as less than human and of no intrinsic value. What your friend did is rude, disrespectful and lacks common decency.

the words, music, singing are so, so bad....i mean, so bad!.
surely witnesses are not so stupid that they don't harbor secret feelings of awkwardness when they see these?.

by EndofMysteries inif you were a computer programmer and you were to create a simulated automated world, that would constantly evolve and self run after initial designs.
first you would have to code the rules, laws, and core elements of this world.
while this is being coded, the program is not run yet, so none of it exists.

Self-righteous Watchtower vs the pagan-inspired New Testament.
by Island Man inwatchtower refuses to translate stauros as cross despite having no evidence to refute the long-standing ancient belief that jesus died on a cross; and in spite of evidence that the romans were in fact using crosses in executions by jesus' day.
they shun the word simply because of the use of crosses in ancient pagan religions.. watchtower refuses to refer to their places of worship with the word church because of the word's supposed pagan origin or past usage to refer to pagan places of worship.. now contrast watchtower's self-righteous attitude of avoiding the use of all words having pagan religious usages, with the new testament verse of 2 peter 2:4:.
certainly god did not refrain from punishing the angels who sinned, but threw them into tarʹta·rus, putting them in chains of dense darkness to be reserved for judgment.. tartarus is a word that had rich pagan mythological meaning when it was written in the nt.

Actually, this happened to the brother of my roommate at Watchtower Farms. His wife used this 'rule' to divorce her husband who was an Elder at the time......she claimed that he forced himself on her. It was a very complicated case. He wound up disfellowshiped and divorced. One of the Elders who may have been on their committee ( I can't remember if he was actually on the committee or not, but was aware of the case because he already had a 'thing' for this sister) pulled the same shit on his wife and claimed that she forced herself on him! Then this Elder married the sister. The 'loophole' worked for them very well. His only punishment was that he was removed as an Elder. Only in Watchtowerland can insane policies be implemented whose unintended consequences are worse than the 'sins' that they are designed to protect against!
