i acknowledge that a few on here have pointed out flaws in my reasoning and the way i reason.

i live in a very rural part of the northeastern united states.

after 9 years of waiting, the local witnesses are getting their new kingdom hall.

it is being built on a back road next to a sandpit.

this may have been covered before but have you noticed the logo design of the "inside story" on this months video the 143rd gilead graduation.

it appears as a pyramid containing the masonic symbol of the compass and square, with this reflected below the text.

the art pieces on the shelf are also interesting and maybe someone has some thoughts on these.

There will be dozens and dozens of posts that will come up on the subject. It should keep you busy for a few weeks and you may even learn something constructive.

I live in a very rural part of the Northeastern United States. After 9 years of waiting, the local Witnesses are getting their new Kingdom Hall. It is being built on a back road next to a sandpit. Of course, rather than have the building fit the area, it is one of the Society's new monstrosities that looks completely out of place on a back road in New England. I had a delivery at work to one of our Mennonite customers and the following exchange took place:

Dan: "What is that building being built on such and such a road?"

Me: "Gosh........I don't know. I'll have to look into it."

Dan's Wife: "Whatever it is, it looks like a Burger King!"

So much for bringing praise and honor to Jehovah's name. All hail 'Earth's new King'............BURGER KING!

To me, it looks like a 'childish' or childlike copy of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie Style. Just someone in Watchtowers design department trying to appear cool, sophisticated and 'hip'.

i realise it's our imperfection but god's organization is not always open to 'outside the box' thinkers such as ourselves.

i've been researching dinosaurs and god's reason for not preserving these beasts beyond the flood of noah's day.

Pomo6780........there are literally hundreds and possibly more posts here on the subject of Judge Rutherford. I suggest you read them all to find out if you really have some new light to share about his history and character. If you do have some heretofore unknown revelations about the Judge, I suggest that you get on with it and stop making 'noise' as OrphanCrow has wisely suggested.

is it still watchtower dogma that the seven trumpets of revelation refer to seven conventions in the 1920s?

would many jws these days even be aware of this?

i find it so amusing that seven little conventions in the distant past, almost a century ago, could be equated with such an iconic biblical passage.

Hee Haw was not clean

so, my son bought me a device that allows me to look up and watch anything i want.

i remember years ago , i enjoyed the television show hee haw on sunday evenings.

i naively thought it was wholesome family entertainment.
