Apparently Jehovah`s Witnesses have no scruples about " LYING" to their GOD Jehovah
by smiddy3 ini thought it was bad enough that jw`s put in weekly reports of fs hours every month in the d2d work when in fact the average publisher would never mention this "good news of the kingdom" to the householder .. more often than not it would be something like some mundane thing about what they have observed about the householders property whether they have kids ,what a lovely garden they have before being cut off by the householder with i`m not interested knowing jw`s are trying to convert them/sell them the watchtower and closing the door.. yet the jw goes away happily putting in a report telling jehovah they have spent so much time in the fs witnessing about him and the kingdom of christ jesus...... cart witnessing is even a worse lie ,why ?
because jw`s make no attempt to witness to anybody they expect people to come to them to be witnessed to which of course never happens .
they spend hours upon hours a month telling jehovah by their fs reports they hand in how much they have witnessed for him ,when in fact they have done nothing of the sort .. they chit chat among themselves witnessing to nobody for hours on end and then lie in their fs report they have been witnessing for jehovah ?.

Time counting has always been fraudulent. It's all bull$hit! My ex pioneer partner padded his hours from day one. He currently serves as an Elder and fill in Circuit Overseer. Jehovah's Witnesses are all about appearances........................lies mean nothing to them.

by UnshackleTheChains inloyalty appears to be the buzzword constantly promoted by the gb at the moment.
we hear it at conventions, assemblies, and meetings.. let's face it loyalty covers so much.

Anthony Morris III is one human being I just will not respect. Witness or not, he is full of SH!T right up to his eyeballs. Haughty, arrogant, self righteous, self satisfied, judgmental, bigoted, opinionated and DOGMATIC are all adjectives that are not strong enough to describe the image he projects. His poor wife and children probably can't wait for him to be taken to his heavenly reward.

Kingdom Hall ... BURGER KING?

it is being built on a back road next to a sandpit.

UPDATE:
This just happened within the last half hour. One of my customers came up to me in the parking lot at work and wanted to exchange pleasantries. Eventually, the conversation came around to that 'new building those people have on the back road.' I laughed and said, Yes, that is the new Kingdom Hall. He said (quote verbatim) : "That is the ugliest church I have ever seen. It looks like a prison to me." The Governing Body certainly has used discernment in making the new Kingdom Halls inviting to the general public.! -

Actually, I think that you are on to something, DesirousOfChange. When I was at Watchtower Farms in the 1970's, the Society had many outside residences just for this purpose. Walter Ludtke, the Assistant Construction Overseer, lived in one of these homes with his wife and children. John Appeltauer, the Farms dentist and his wife also lived in a private residence owned by the Society. This is nothing new but seems to be growing exponentially.
(And you are correct..............the 'we're going broke' image is all bullshit and spin, contrary to the belief of some posters here.)

This is great work! I tried to research this very same thing on Thursday at work but could not gain access to the Orange County Registry of Deeds. After researching the Registry of Deeds for Brooklyn, I wanted to know how much money the Organization got for their properties and how much of it was invested upstate in the new Warwick Vatican. Thank you for this research. This bears looking into further!

Do you have JW-related dreams (nightmares)?

i guess it's never going away: daytime carryovers of jw-related stuff seeping into my dreams.. the majority of these dreams take place at conventions but with really weird trappings.
last night i dreamed i arrived at the site with no books, no lunch, nothing but my car keys.

Being an ex-Bethelite my nightmares revolved around me returning to Bethel. Always woke up in a cold sweat with a pounding heart. The irony was that in the dream, I re-applied voluntarily, was glad to be accepted and once I was back at Watchtower Farms, I was flooded with anxiety and felt the impending doom of another 'nervous breakdown'. I had mindfulness based therapy over ten years ago and interestingly enough I have not been bothered with the dream since. I had other Bethel based dreams but this one was a recurring theme. -

Did You Go To Meetings in Very Inclement Weather?
by minimus inliving in new england means having lots of snow and cold.
elders were very reluctant to cancel or reschedule a meeting due to the weather.
i lived 3 towns away from the kingdom hall and if it was icy and treacherous my vote would always be to cancel the meeting....and forget about rescheduling!.

I remember in the '60's and '70's that meetings were rarely canceled. My family traveled over 30 miles one way to the Sunday and Thursday night meetings. We routinely traveled in blizzard conditions that most Witnesses today would not dare to venture out in. Our lives were put in danger because of the promises of 1975!
