  i grew up with steve pare who is now an elder in southern california.

  he sent me this note after i talked to him on the phone and sent him my book.. "the super-abundant blessings i have received in the advancing the earthly organization of jehovah have been fantastic !!!".

  "jehovah is not behind in creating the paradise & his mighty of 9,000,000 will work with 20-50 billion to be resurrected & in 1,000 years the paradise will be done on time!!

  Dear Keith,

  Thank you for thinking of me and sending me your book. Although I don't necessarily agree with what you have written, I respect your position and your right to hold your own views. As old friends I think that our policy with each other is that we 'can agree to disagree.' I treasure our friendship highly and will not let a disagreement in ideologies come between us or negate our long standing friendship. If it is alright with you, I would appreciate that moving forward you not bring up these issues any more in our conversations and I will try not to 'reconvert' you to the Jehovah's Witness way of life. So please call me on the phone, my friend and we can make arrangements to get together and 'rehash' the old days. I would love to see you and catch up on your life!

  No matter what color a man's skin is, slavery is heinous and evil. However, in my opinion it would be just as heinous and evil to single out one race of individuals over and above any other race and reward them financially for wrongs done to their unknown ancestors. This is modern America where everyone has a chance to better themselves and make something of their lives. How long should innocent people be held financially responsible for the 'sins' of their forefathers?

  As usual, Jehovah's Witnesses take a scripture out of context and assign a meaning to it. If you read the full context, it would or could seem to indicate that Jehovah is doing the forgetting and not calling to mind his peoples past transgressions. Verses 16 and 17 should be read together:

  "16. So that anyone who seeks a blessing for himself in the earth, Will be blessed by the God of truth, And anyone who swears an oath in the earth Will swear by the God of truth. For the former distresses will be forgotten; They will be concealed from my (Jehovah's) eyes, 17. For look! I am creating a new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart." Interestingly enough, verse 16 is cross referenced to Isaiah 12:1 which states: "In that day you will certainly say: "I thank you, O Jehovah, For although you were angry with me, Your anger gradually subsided, and you comforted me."

  Here is a group of celebrities that influence millions for the good or the bad depending on their personal preference. As for me, I have no use for the lot of them and would not base my personal decisions on anything they say. I am not interested in any political or product endorsement that so called celebrities care to pontificate on and am not influenced one way or another.

  my pimi wife listens to a lot of the meetings on the phone with the speaker on.

  when i am watching tv i hear the meetings in the background.

  i just cringe with how a witless can't give a comment without having said jehovah at least two times.

  i ran into a pimi who asked why my family and i were awol.

  i told him that it was private and personal and i wasn't at liberty to discuss it.

  I think I am the great-great-great grandson of this child millworker in Lowell Massachusetts. She worked for pennies a day and worked 12 to 14 hours, 7 days a week in the late 1800's. I know she is Caucasian but that shouldn't matter. I want my money and I want it now!
