FedUpJW...just who are you leftists? The packing out of the arena and the practice of social distancing or the wearing or non wearing of masks makes no difference to me. In fact, it is a moot point. President Trump and his campaign paid for the rental of the BOK Center and his supporters willingly attended; if they chose to pack out the arena to the rafters and/or not to wear masks that is their right and privilege as long as they are not breaking any law. My point is that President Trump and his campaign bragged about how many tickets were requested, how many they thought would attend (both inside as well as outside the arena) and the physical turnout of people did not come close to matching their expectations.

What Happened at the Tulsa Rally? I Thought There Were Requests for a Million Tickets?
by RubaDub init just seems rather odd to me that supposedly a million people had tickets or wanted tickets and yet the upper deck of the arena was half empty (or less) and they cancelled the outdoor overflow thing.
just a bit strange based from what was reported the day before.. i wonder if it was no-shows or being overly optimistic..

Although the TikTok Teens may have had some impact on the Tulsa rally, I believe it would have had a minimal impact on attendance. There was NO cap on the amount of tickets provided for this event. So even if 100,000,000,000,000 tickets were reserved for the event, up to approximately 20,000 loyal Republicans could have been seated in this venue. The fact of the matter is that people just did not show up in large numbers, period. The teens impact was probably felt in the Trump campaigns data harvesting operation. President Trump and his traveling roadshow may be wearing thin for many Republicans.

Black Lives Matter—Do You Agree With Their Philosophy?
by minimus ini agree with people who say all lives matter.
i think blm is a racist group.
if white people pushed an agenda saying white lives matter, some people would have a conniption..

"We work vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people."
"We are unapologetically Black in our positioning. In affirming that Black Lives Matter, we need not qualify our position. To love and desire freedom and justice for ourselves is a prerequisite for wanting the same for others."- WHAT WE BELIEVE Black Lives Matter homepage
There is nothing disagreeable to me in their core philosophy. In fact, it seems to be a rather egalitarian position.

CO'S "encouraging" letter to circuit
by nowwhat? inthe point of the letter was how many are feeling disappointed these days.. no circuit assembly, convention, how we can't fellowship at the k.h.
disappointed we might have had a love one die, etc etc.
he then goes on to write about how disappointed jehovah must have felt when his first human creation rebelled.

Now is a good time for parents to roll play 'coffee break'. That way when children who have never been exposed to 'field service' finally get the opportunity, they will be prepared to take their place in honoring Jehovah in every aspect of the never to be repeated preaching work of our lifetime!

"These agitators were NOT from BLM or any other African American group & in fact BLM organizer tried to get them to stop." - Senator Marco Rubio R-FL Twitter Feed last night

I walked past this statue of Lincoln every time I walked home from Jr. High School in 1969. Sometimes I would pass it in the morning and in the afternoon thereby 'overlapping' my contact with the statue in the same day. Does that count?
True story: My history teacher was a distant relative of Lincoln. In fact, his last name was Lincoln. That would make road to nowhere and I contemporaries of the Lincoln family.

Update....Not That Anyone Cares
by 1234 inthis isn't a poor me thread.....just what is going on here in my small world.. since both my son and me own tour companies, when the lock down happened three weeks ago our businesses literally died over night.
we both depended on the tourist that come to phoenix and sedona, so that all went away as people stop taking vacations.
all future tours have been cancelled.. my son moved in with me two days ago, much to chagrin of his jehovah's witness mother.

George Couch was THE Home Servant and also had charge of Watchtower Farms. Albert Schroeder was a Gilead instructor (perhaps that is who you are thinking of).

1973 DIVINE VICTORY ASSEMBLY
"Recognize any names?" - Petra!
I most certainly do!
R. Franz, A. Schroeder, V. Wisegarver : Bethel heavies one and all who I never met personally or had any interactions with during my Bethel career.
A. Flowers : Bag of wind, bullshit artist in love with his own mirror image. Company man to the core. When I left Watchtower Farms he asked me : 'So will you become a Jehovah's Witness after you leave here?!' His only claim to fame was that he married a much younger woman.
Phil Wilcox : Very nice, down to earth man. He is a Bethel heavy. Treated me like a younger brother. Told me when I left : 'Sparky, you got some bad breaks here at Bethel and I am sorry that things turned out for you the way they did. Why don't you go ahead and leave, take some time to think about your life, get married and come back to Bethel. If that is what you want, don't reapply through the normal channels. Call me and I will get you back in.' One of the finest, most non-judgmental men I have ever met!
George Couch : Here is Sparky's original bete noire! Interestingly enough, I first met ole Georgie boy at a meeting for those interested in Bethel service at a District Assembly. We had a long conversation together...just we two! (How sweet! ) When it was over, he ripped me a new asshole and called me arrogant and smug. I wish I had the guts to return the favor but he got his comeuppance when the Governing Body took more control of Bethel operations. Grifting Georgie Boy soon learned his place when Nathan Knorr could no longer cover for him.
Ah! The memories! Some good, most bad.
