Happy 30th Anniversary. That's a real achievement and it should be celebrated and you and your hubby should be made a fuss of.

Do you have difficulty accepting gifts, being happy, and showing emotion?
by MsMcDucket ini've got it bad.
i'm trying to overcome not showing emotion, and learning how to accept gifts graciously.
i've heard some saying using emoticons are silly; but it's like a major move on my part.

Is Satan useful to God?
by JH inhe's been keeping him around for a long time....i guess he must be useful in something, just like insects that must be useful someway..... .

This is based on the assumption that 'Satan' actually exists - which he doesn't.

HELPING DANSK!
by Dansk ini apologise for taking the liberty of using my alias to attract attention but a number of people have contacted me to ask what they could do to help by way of being a stem cell donor (without a stem cell donation soon i will likely die).
i cannot express enough just how appreciative i am for such wonderful thoughtful gestures.
it is possible that your stem cells are a perfect match for me and that you could literally save my life.. however, if you are not a match you could very well save someone else's life - so do please consider being a stem cell donor.

I will most definitely do that Ian. Giving blood is easy, and stem cell donation from blood is apparently very similar, but you have to have 4 days of injections beforehand to increase the number of stem cells in your blood. Bone marrow donation is a little more complicated, I know you have to stay in hospital for a couple of days. Not much to ask if it will save a life though.

I'm going to be disfellowshipped on Wednesday
by Thinking of Leaving inthe elders cames to my home on saturday and i didn't answer the door, so they told my sister to relay the message.
the message was "you know what it's about, we're going to make the announcement next meeting".
i knew it was coming...but it feels so weird.

Congratulations, trust me being disfellowshipped is the best thing that can happen to you. I'm talking from experience as I was df'd in 2002. It's hard at first but the freedom that follows far outweighs the bad stuff.

Hi Ian, just so you know I have put my money where my mouth is today. I went and gave blood for the first time ever (no Jehovah did not strike me dead on the spot!)
I mentioned that I wanted to donate stem cells too, so I had to fill in an extra form and give an extra little vial of blood and now I am on the bone marrow donor list. They either take stem cells from bone marrow or blood, and I could be called up for either.
I really hope I can help somebody like you Ian.

Hi Linda, hope you're enjoying your weekend at home. It's a beautiful day today which must be lovely for you. I know the treatment you've been having is vile but I'm sure it's doing the trick.
Lots of love being sent to you and Trev from Marie and Ian. XXX

Low carb...............high protein diet
by vitty inok so now im more confused than ever.................... i have found out information that says you should eat 1gram of protein to every lb you weigh...............ok i can do that , i thought.
4oz--100gram chicken breast, thats not a lot, but that is not how its calculated .
100 grams of chicken is only 14 g protein.. so if i ate only chicken for a day say 10oz--300 gram................= 1,120 calories ( my limit ) its only 42 grams of protein.. can anyone explain it, have i got it wrong .

Hi just thought I'd let you know that I've recently joined Weightwatchers. You can basically eat whatever you like as long as you count the points value in the food. Easy for me as I'm a chocaholic and I always save a few points every day for some chocolate.

I LOATHE smoking and both my teenagers smoke to my utter disgust.
