I never knew this. I may suggest to my jw family that they emigrate to Bulgaria.

How to make love & marriage work w/a JW
by StillinLove inplease dont comment saying to "run" or "get out while i can" thank you im not new to this, so i can handel it.
i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, we started dating in high school and now i am going to college and he is working.
i am 20 and he is 21, i was raised catholic but my mom and i are too open minded for the church so we left.

Hi 'Stillinlove' and welcome to the board.
Please take my advice, you are very young and obviously in love. Have some fun for a couple more years, by then you will have both changed and then go your seperate ways. This relationship won't last because of him being a jw and your not being one.
If you go against my advice, he will make your life a misery. And your future children's lives a misery. And his family's lives a misery. And your family's lives a misery.
I married at age 20 and knew within 2 years that I'd made a huge mistake. Don't go down that road as it took me 16 years to get out of the marriage. Do the math, that's a lot of unhappy years!! Enjoy your relationship with him whilst you feel the way you do right now, but cut and run before it gets too serious. You'll probably have tired by him then.
Good luck.

Long last letter to dad...please comment-not mailed yet
by dawg indad, .
i doubt youll even read this letter since it comes from your son, a son youve abandoned over your religious views, but i wanted to write you one final letter to see if theres any hope that you can come to your senses as far as this religion goes and we can renew our relationship.
im doing this because i care for you and mom deeply and feel very much distressed that you two refuse to see anyones opinion as being factual other than your own when it concerns the jw religion.

Good luck Dawg. I think the outcome of your dad reading this letter ( if he actually reads it ), depends entirely on his attitude when reading.
If he reads with an open mind and heart, it may affect him positively.
If he reads with a closed mind and heart ( as all jw's are taught to when receiving correspondence from 'apostates' ), then it may have been a waste of your valuable time.

Hi everyone, I'm in on this. I want to lose about 21 pounds, hopefully by the summer but not too bothered if it takes longer. I'm on the Atkins diet, cutting out those evil carbs is what really works for me.

Did you read the whole Bible when you were a JW?
by outofthebox inafter an informal poll in my congregation (and many awkward responses) i found out that almost nobody had read the whole bible ever, not even the elders (surprise!).
brothers and sisters with 20, 30, 40 and 50 years as jws don't know what the bible says.
so, if god decides that a test is coming, will they pass it?

No I didn't but my grandfather read it 8 times. The last two times was whilst he was dying of lung cancer in hospital. What a waste of his final hours eh?

NEW CAR FOR BUBBLE
by south african beef inbubble and i are off to choose a new car for her tomorrow.. we won't get it tomorrow as she wants the new '08 plate but we have to decide soon.. the choice is either a vw golf 1.6tsi match or a fiat grande punto 1.4dynamic sport - which shall we go for?.
the glof we would probably have to buy on personal contract hire but the punto we buy outright.
she has a punto now.. i know the golf has a good reputation for reliability but it's a bit dull!

This is the alternative. It's far better on quality, but I will pay £3000 more for that privilege.

Worldtraveller - I'm not too worried about fuel economy as I only work 9 miles from home. I don't ever drive long distances.
Juni - Yeah I think I might take your advice.

Ok, what do you think? I can get this sporty, pretty fiat punto, or I can go for a sensible, slightly boring vw golf.

My cousin died yesterday.
by nicolaou inhe was 43, just a few months older than me.
his kidneys failed him when he was just 15 and he'd been on dialysis ever since.
a couple of transplants had failed in the early years and his body deteriorated after that.

((((Mike))))
When I die they can take all my organs, I'll certainly have no more use for them. Shame the transplants didn't work out long term for your cuz, but like has already been said, at least he isn't suffering any more.
