  that was the first thing out of my mouth to the two women witnesses who came by yesterday to talk to me, their return visit.

  i had wanted to talk to them since last saturday, one of the women came by with a fellow and offered me the magazines.

  This is the most awesome talk ever because it shows how stupid and shallow those who leave the faith are. People who leave are followers of men, but the ones who stay in the faith are followers of Jesus.

  O, really? Do you follow the Governing Body?

  Also, I'm trying to recall which man I follow right now.....hmm...let me see...which man/group of men do I regard as my leader....hmm.....I'll have to get back to you on that one.

  New and SAD...

  hello all...i've been searching for some sort of comfort in my situation.

  i found some comfort to know that i am not alone in my challenging of my faith.

  I left last year. All of the family and friends I had/have were in that religion. It will hurt for some time, but you can find a great support group here. Take advantage of the great research about JW's that others have done, get involved here and make some new friends.

  Trust me, it gets better and you will wake up one day smiling inside.

  Not so much belonging, but a sense of direction.

  I thought I had it all figured out, then I realized how pompous and haughty that attitude is. I'm starting to realize many XJW's have a difficult time finding a new direction, or purpose to life. I think it's imperative a person finds one.

  For me, college is a good distraction. Understanding the natural world and trying to protect it seems to be the thing closest to my heart.

  this morning i had to scrape the ice off my windshield and back window.. on the way to work i saw many a frozen front lawn and most cars were covered with ice like mine.. all on the outskirts of los angeles.. it must be "global warming".. warlock.

  The term 'global warming' is something of a misnomer. A more accurate description would be 'global climate change'. The warming trend we are currently *observing* will also cause ususually cold weather systems at times. Take a physical geography class to learn about ocean currents...why do you think northern europe has such mild weather? Ever heard of the Great Conveyor Belt in the Atlantic?

  Leolaia pointed out how quickly humans can have an effect on the climate. Just the simple act of planes being grounded!

  It's official... Richland, Washington... here we come!

  we finally made the decision last night... though we will miss our ex's in texas... we are headed to washington.. for those who are not familiar with washington, richland is not green and wet like the seattle area, but more like an arid dessert.

  the are does have some of the best school averages in the country.. we'll be there next month.

  any kingdom halls there?.
