Can I go on a cyber rampage for just a moment?
The core of this thinking really de-values us as individuals.
Stop teaching the money bs and tell them they are created by a loving God who desires to know them intimately!
The question of whether God exists or not should not de-value humans as individuals. I don't consider the relationship valid in any case. Non-theism is unrelated to any intrinsic 'value' a person has. I believe each person creates his or her own reason for living. We make our own meaning.

Here is a quote:
" It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life—daily and hourly. Our answer must consist, not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
Do animals do this? Who knows. Can animals ponder their existance? Are humans the only lifeform that has evolved which is able of asking these types of questions?
