Ace.
I've read that album is about climate change, but it can mean so many different things. The mark of good songwriting.

"The Superiority of Being Taught By Jehovah" -- British Version
by cabasilas ina friend has sent me a mp3 recording of the lecture from the 2007 district assembly entitled: "the superiority of being taught by jehovah" which discourages higher education.
this one is from the nottingham (u.k.) assembly this year.
i thought it would be interesting to compare this with the mp3 of the same lecture from georgia (usa) which was posted earlier here on jwd.

Black Swan
What will grow quickly, that you can't make straight
It's the price you gotta pay
Do yourself a favour and pack you bags
Buy a ticket and get on the train
Buy a ticket and get on the train
Cause this is fucked up, fucked up
Cause this is fucked up, fucked up
People get crushed like biscuit crumbs
And laid down in the bed you made
You have tried your best to please everyone
But it just isn't happening
No, it just isn't happening
And it's fucked up, fucked up
And this is fucked up, fucked up
This your blind spot, blind spot
It should be obvious, but it's not.
But it isn't, but it isn't
You cannot kickstart a dead horse
You just crush yourself and walk away
I don't care what the future holds
Cause I'm right here and I'm today
With your fingers you can touch me
I'm your black swan, black swan
But I made it to the top, made it to the top
This is fucked up, fucked up
You are fucked up, fucked up
This is fucked up, fucked up
We are black swans, black swans
I'm for spare parts, broken up -

Thank you for the talk Cab. I have 2 versions not posted here yet from the USA. I'll get them up tomorrow.
This talk is similar to the USA talk. I was surprised to learn that a basic education ends at 16 years of age in Great Britain. Higher education is any college or university work after this!

Edwards tanked the gay marriage question. He looked very uncomfortable. However, he was honest when giving his opinion and stated that his personal beliefs would not be imposed upon the American people if he was President..silly statement when you think about it. Of course personal beliefs play a role in the decisions one makes as President.
Was anyone else thinking an Obama-Clinton ticket (Obama Pres or V.P, doesn't matter) with Joe Biden as Sec of State or Defense? -

Just got done watching the debate, the first Democratic debate I've seen for '08. A couple things:
Joe Biden was great. He struck me as a leader with a strong inner compass. His reaction to the gun question at the end of the debate was great. He went from being a nobody for me to a contender.
Obama continued to impress. The way he handles the audience is impressive. I think he can be a uniter for the USA.
Hillary began to make progress with me. I still think she is too divisive of a figure for the presidency.
Edwards sank like a stone. The key point in the debate for him was the gay marriage question. I find it hard to believe his faith will not affect the decisions he makes as president on this issue.
Richardson, Dodd, Kucinich...good, but eh.
Gravel is just plain funny. -

Allows us to help others. What other degree can have such far reaching effects on others?
Should I start listing the degrees that can help others?
Sounds like the speaker is uneducated as well.
And how can you support yourself and your family pioneering?
Ya Loosie, the same question came into my mind. However, it's good to keep in mind where the speaker is coming from. What he really meant by that statement is:
"What other degree offers people the hope for eternal life in a paradise earth?"
Insisting on permanence seems to lead people down the wrong path.
