BSoM- i had night attacks, and they were REAL, but won`t go into detail about them on here, but can tell you some stuff about my bro`. He lives in a smallholding in Cambridge, England, and he has got resident ghosts or spirits whatever you like to call them. Loads of people in the family and friends have each experienced things there, and hardly anyone goes there anymore now. Things like his drums playing in the night, and his organ too. Doors slamming for no reason, cups swinging, things moving about, cold areas, i could go on and on, spooky eh?

under_believer- that is in your opinion, that doesn`t make you right. I actually believe that there is subliminal imaging in advertising, and in the watchtower, and that OTWO has got a point about hypnotism, and they are the things that the org could be doing that are from an evil source.

There has been another thread on this a while back, and i thought it was very interesting. One of the things they said, was that they have a song to start off with to lull you into a relaxed frame of mind, then they do the prayer, which is the beginning of the hypnotism, then the backward and forward eye movement which you mention. It sounds very logical, doesn`t it? Just think, i was hypnotised for 25 years! I`m trying to think how i managed to break out of it, must have started thinking for myself, i did slow down on meetings tho`, maybe that`s how.

OTWO- i read a thread a while back about hypnotic tactics, and agree that they could be using them at the meetings, (unknowingly now of course). I also think that Rutherford was evil, and believe that the org stems from evil things, like the occult, pyramids, etc.

I know loads, but the best one is this, father and son were elders, father gets leukemia, and son goes around the cong asking all the vulnerable ones for money for his treatment, ie: elderly, which was unnecessary as he got it free on the national health. Well prior to that he had been to America and met his new wife, who thought he was her Prince Charming, and had loads of money. So he had to live up to this, so he took her all around England staying at Stately homes, (owned by royalty etc.) so thats why he used the so-called `sick money`. He was the Secretary at the time, and had access to the accounts, so helped himself to 30 grand. they discovered the loss when they went to use the money for a build. Anyway, he got d/f but doesn`t get taken to court, because he agrees to pay back out of his monthly wages, (protect j`s name and all that). Meantime it is also discovered he is an alcoholic, so a lot of money was spent on that as well, while he was still an elder. Then his wife caught him in bed with their daughter of about 8, but he was never d/f for that, instead he got reinstated! I know because i was in the congs where it happened, and knew his wife very well, and she told me eveything. There were also another elder in the cong who had sexually abused his 16 year old daughter, and was only made to step down, incidentally, he was a teacher, and taught kids in his house! I could go on and on about all the cases that i knew in different congs over 25 years.

Personally, i do believe in a spirit/ghosts, whatever you want to call them, as i know quite a lot of people who have experienced things with them. I like to keep an open mind, i`m not sure whether there is a god or not,but i do believe in some form of spirit life, even tho` it scares me!
