  under_believer - i thought as much! Actually, i don`t mind acknowledging that there are demons, as it proves that there is some sort of spirit life out there, i`m not enslaved to it at all, never have been. The org would not have controlled me purely because of installing fear of demons, i am too strong a character than that to be enslaved because of that. Have you got the link to the sleep paralysis as i would be interested to read it, thanks.

  Heather- i agree with you about that. I think while you are in the org you are more prone to getting them, (maybe because it is hand in hand with them in many ways). I haven`t had any since i left, 5 years ago, so it`s true for me, fingers crossed, (oh that`s pagan isn`t it!)

  under_believer, are you following me around? I`m beginning to wonder if i have a stalker! No i didn`t read that thread about sleep paralysis, but even if i did, i still have my own opinion on it, altho` i will check it out. I believe that there is spirits/demons anyway as know of family that have experienced things when they were awake.

  what is it makes some of those wacky apostates appear from time to time claiming russell and the witnesses were/are all part of some great freemason/illuminati plot?

  i'll tell you what it is, and it may explain a few other things for you too!

  people who come up with these theories demonstrate a basic psychological insecurity stemming from their involvement and subsequent disentanglement from the witnesses.

  I must be one of those wacky apostates, and i`ll go one step further and say that the root of the org is evil. I think you are naive to think that it isn`t a money making organisation.

  lovelylil-it is comforting to know that someone else on here can relate to experiencing an attack, other`s can poo-poo it until they have experienced it, but when you do, it is scarey, isn`t it? I do think demons and the org are connected, i think it is from an evil source, it must be as it causes more harm than good.

  fts- there are somethings that i have drwan conclusions about, and this is one of them.

  fts- i do believe in some sort of afterlife or spirit world, whether the god story is true or not, i know there is something out there, and no-one will change my mind on that.

  ladybug- i can`t say why they picked me, maybe because i was vulnerable spiritually, i was having a really bad time in every area of my life when it happened, and it scared the living daylights out of me. I must say i haven`t had any of these attacks since i was d/f. It has taken me 5 years to now feel ok about being out of the org as i have found out so much about it,and it has released me from any feelings of guilt etc.

  ladybug- i believe in demons as i have suffered a couple of attacks, and it def wasn`t in my head! Very frightening actually, and it wasn`t sleep paralysis. I was asleep one night, and i was lying on my front. I felt someone lying on top of my back, and felt their hand under my stomach. I thought that someone had broken into my house, as i could feel the clamminess of the hand.Ii live in a relatively new house, so it isn`t haunted, (not like my bro`s who has experienced untold stuff). I also had my long hair pulled down the side of the bed, and i know of other people that have experienced similar things, or have been sexually abused. I find it quite annoying that people can poo-poo it so easily, and it wasn`t a `victorious` event either, and i certainly have a lot of excitement in my life, and don`t need to make up scarey events like that.
